I picked up these wipes in one of our local discount styles stores and they cost me 99p for the packet. I was drawn to the wipes as they looked pretty and they are a decent sized packet to keep in my handbag for sticky hands over the summer. The wipes are in a small plastic packet and they have the me to you logo on them along with the me to you bear holding loads of pink flowers, the background of the packet is a pale pink in colour so the packet is very attractive. The pack states that it holds 80 orange scented wipes and that the wipes also contain Aloe Vera and has a pull back sticky section in the middle for you to get the wipes out of. Inside the packet there are white wipes which are nice and soft to the touch and do have a lovely orange scent to them, the wipes are strong and stretch quite a bit so one wipes is normally enough for wiping a pair of sticky hands. I have used these wipes on myself as well as both my children one of which suffers from eczema now and again and the wipes are gentle enough for her even on her face. The wipes smell lovely in my opinion and whenever I open the packet my eldest daughter asks to smell them, the packet has been in my bag since about May and even though I haven't used a full packet yet the wipes are still nice and moist which I think is great as some packs of baby wipes struggle to hold moisture for that long. The wipes are really soft on the skin and if you wipes your face with them I find you feel nice and refreshed afterwards. I cannot fault these wipes, they are a decent price, they contain a good number of wipes rather than the usual 20 wipes you get in little travel packs yet the pack size is great for fitting in your handbag or even a glovebox of a car. The wipes are soft, gentle on skin and strong and plenty moist enough and the scent is lovely. What else would you expect for 99p.
This is a review of the Me to You hand wipes I have had in my car for a while now. I must admit I bought them for the cute packaging and of course the more practical purpose of clean ups on the go. Purchase decision We usually use normal unscented baby wipes but these are orange scented which is a little different and nice and refreshing if you are just giving your hands a quick clean. Contents Each packet contains 80 wipes which is plenty to last in the car for months. The packet has been open for weeks now and the contents have not dried up despite a lot of hot days so that is really good. Price and availability I bought the wipes from Home Bargains for a pound and thought they were good value for money. Size wise, they are a little smaller than a normal sized baby wipe but still big enough to do the job. I have not noticed these particular wipes for sale anywhere else but they probably are on sale in other shops. Iffy? Most of the time I have found the scent quite nice but a couple of times I thought it a little sickly. We can probably put this down to a queasy pregnancy moment though rather than anything to worry about. My thoughts I have found the moistness of the wipe to be just right, not too wet but not too dry and they clean up little spills and messy hands and faces rather well. Packaging and branding I think I mentioned the packaging up front. If you are not familiar with the tatty teddy from Me to You bears then google it! They are really cute and share their branding with a few toiletry products like tissues and these wipes. Children will love the bears and can be bribed to use them with the picture sometimes! Repurchase Although I prefer to use normal baby wipes for changing nappies (and occasionally taking off my make up!) I would repurchase these wipes for going in the car. I think they are ideal for older kids too as they are not as babyish in appearance and the scent will probably appeal to them. For the price they cost and the amount of time they last they are well worth having a packet in. Final thoughts Cute packaging, a nice wet wipe, scented and a bit different, I think these wipes are unique and fun and a great addition to a family day out. I would recommend them as a useful item in any mum's handbag. The dimensions of the packet are slightly smaller than normal baby wipes too so they will take up less space but as you get 80 they will not run out on you in a day like the handy packs you can get. They get rid of sticky hands and stay damp in the packet so work well for us.
-- Reasons for buying -- When I got my car, I decided to decorate it will Me To You accessories such as mats, seat belt covers ECT. As a gift my mum bought me these wipes to also put in my car, to use whilst I was on the go. -- Appearance -- The wipes are similar to baby or face wipes. They are white and made of fabric which is quite stretchy, but very strong. The wipes come in a pale pink plastic packet, with a sticky label, which you pull back to retrieve the wipes and re-seal to protect and keep them moist. On the front is a tatty teddy holding a pile of pink flower heads and the logo underneath stating 'Me To You' and '80 Handy Orange Scented Wipes'. On the back of the packet is some information about the wipes, including the ingredients. -- My experience -- I was slightly worried that because I wouldn't be using them very often they would dry out quickly, but the resealable packet means that the wipes stayed moist for longer. The scent is absolutely gorgeous and I love how fresh and clean my hands smell after using. The scent isn't overpowering as the Aloe Vera seems to tame down the smell of oranges. It also means that whilst the wipes are cleansing, you also have the Aloe Vera which I say conditions your hands at the same time. It doesn't say that these wipes condition, they are purely for cleansing but my skin feels very soft and smooth after using. These hand wipes can also be use as facial wipes which I think is brilliant as they thoroughly clean and give of such a lovely scent. I have used these just before going to the gym after college, to remove my make-up so my make-up doesn't run from all the sweating. They are very refreshing and leave your skin feeling very smooth. I have very sensitive skin and I'm pleased to say these lead to no irritation and didn't dry out my skin on my hands or my face. They are also quite wet and find one is enough to thoroughly remove all my make-up/clean my hands. I tend use these more for my hands after filling my car up with fuel, as sometimes I tend to get it on my hands and the smell is awful. But these refresh and clean my hands in no time, they are great if your always on the go like me. The scent also seems to linger when I use them and make my car smell fresh and clean as well as my skin. The packet is quite large, so I tend to leave them in my car as they are inconvenient to carry around in my handbag. -- Price and Availability -- These are not widely available and have not seen them in any supermarkets or drug stores. As my mum bought them, I'm not 100% sure where she got them from. They are available on Amazon for £1.15, which I think for 80 wipes and the fantastic quality is an excellent, well worth price. -- Conclusion -- I will definitely be repurchasing these wipes are they are great to have in my car for when I'm on the go and they go brilliant with my accessories in my car! They are quite tricky to find but for the small price you could easily order in bulk and they would last you a very long time. I'm about half way through my first packet and have had them since around Christmas.
I've recently started working as personal assistant to a young adult with Cerebral Palsy. When we were out shopping in Poundland at the Metro Centre I saw these 'Me to You' Hand and Face wipes. I decided to buy a packet as we were going for a hot chocolate and I thought these would clean messy hands and face better than the napkins you get in cafes. I usually always have wet wipes in my bags for when I am out and about with my nephews and niece but on this occasion I did not. I wasn't sure what to expect for £1 as I had never tried these wipes before. After our hot chocolate and cake I wiped our hands and faces, and all traces of food and drink were removed. :-) As the packet is largely than those I would usually carry around I decided to add them to my collection of face wipes for when I want to quickly remove make up after a night or just to freshen up. The packet is a pretty pink colour with a Tatty Teddy and some flowers on the front. It's the same sort of packaging that you would usually expect to get face wipes in and the re-sealable sticky opening keeps the wipes nice and moist. I first opened these in December and I still have a couple left, and they are as moist as when I first opened them. The face wipes are suitable to remove make-up, and this the function I have used them for most. The wipes have a pleasant orange fragrance which is not too overpowering. I tend to choose face wipes which have limited scent as if they are too scented they often cause me to sneeze. I like the smell of these wipes and so far they have not caused me to have any sneezing fits! They also contain soothing Aloe Vera. I haven't particularly noticed this, but the wipes do not make my skin feel dry, and they have a fresh and cooling feel to them. The wipes are strong and are a similar size to other facial wipes I have used. They are nice and moist, and one wipe suitably does my whole face and neck. I sometimes use them to wipe excess make-up of my fingers too (after I've been applying foundation) and find them to remove it all adequately and leave my fingers smelling orangey fresh! The pack contains 80 wipes, which for £1, makes excellent value! They are currently available on amazon for £1.15 (plus postage), which does make them a bit dearer. I think they are still worth this little bit extra though as they do their job well and smell nice. The packaging will also look pretty on your dressing table! These would also be useful for trips out or picnics etc, when you want to freshen your hands but don't have access to water. These are not my favourite facial wipes but I am very impressed with them and will certainly buy them again if I see them for £1. As they are 'Me to You' I think these would make a nice gift too - I certainly wouldn't be disappointed if someone gave some of these to me as a gift! Thanks for reading!
Yet another product I received for Christmas was one I had not seen before it was Me to You 80 Handy Wipes. I do regularly use facial wipes as well as my regular cleanser especially if I want to remove my foundation quickly and easily without having to do my whole routine, I find these particularly useful if I am going out straight after work and do not want to reapply all my make up, with wipes I can remove my foundation only and reapply that to freshen up my face without having to do my eyes again. The Me to You wipes were actually part of a hamper my parents do for me which contains a variety of toiletries, most of which are pink and these blended in perfectly. Packaging The Me to You wipes come in the traditional type of packet that most facial wipes come in, in the form of a plastic type packet with a large clear sticker on the front which when peeled back peels a small piece of the packet away to reveal the wipes inside, this then seals back down again to complete the picture on the front of the packet. The background colour of the packet is pale pink, right in the centre of it is a large picture of the Me to You Bear or Tatty Teddy as he is also known holding a large pile of pink flower heads, there are also small flowers picture around Tatty Teddy . Right at the bottom of the packet is a small pink oval which has the Me to You logo in it along with the words "80 Handy Wipes Orange Scented". In the top right hand corner of the packet is written "soothing aloe Vera extracts suitable for hands and face" again this is written in black. The only other information of the packet is written on the back, this consists of the ingredients, cautions and contact details for the company. At the top of the packet on the back is a picture of Tatty Teddy's face again with the Me to You logo and the words "80 Handy wipes Orange Scented". All of the information is written in black and is easy to follow, it is also written in a second language. There are also small pictures of flowers in the corners of the back of the packet so it blends in with the design on the front. Personally I think the packaging is extremely cute, better than a lot of the plainer packets you can buy facial and hand wipes in, this one is something a bit different. The wipes. The me to You wipes look just like any other facial/ hand wipes, they are plain white and made from a material that is not quite a fabric but much stronger than a tissue type material.. When I opened the wipes I wasn't really sure what to expect, I wasn't sure what the quality would be as sometime you find that 'character' type products look nice but are not of the best quality. The first thing I noticed was the fragrance, this was not what I expected as I thought I would find them to have quite a strong orange fragrance, however this seems to be mixed with the aloe vera which dulls down the fragrance of oranges, however this is definitely not unpleasant, they have a lovely fresh smell to them, the fact that the orange and aloe vera fragrance are mixed together means that the wipes have more of a cleansing fragrance to them which I particularly liked. I removed one of the wipes from the packet and was pleased to discover that they were quite wet, there was plenty of the cleanser on each wipe, again I did wonder whether the wipes might be a bit on the dry side, however this was not the case, the moisture of the wipes meant that I was definitely going to be able to thoroughly cleanse my face with just one maybe two wipes at a time. The Me to You wipes make no claims about being suitable for sensitive skin so I was hoping that they were not going to make the skin on my face sore as this has happened before. I used one of the wipes to remove my foundation rubbing it thoroughly over my face. The wipe itself was of a good standard it did not fall apart as I was using it but stayed in one piece and maintained its shape. The wipes are quite large when you remove them from he packet as inside it they are folded up, I found that one wipe was enough to remove all of my foundation and facial powder successfully and once finished I was pleased to discover that the cleanser on the wipes did not irritate my skin despite it being quite highly fragranced, in fact my skin felt very fresh afterwards. There are no claims that this product will moisturise your skin, the wipes are purely for cleansing only, and they certainly did an excellent job as afterwards my face felt clean and fresh, the wipes had a cooling effect as well. The packet says that these wipes are suitable for both your hands and face, I have used them on the odd occasion for my hands if I want to freshen up quickly but personally I normally just use them on my face. However these would be useful to keep in your car or travel bag in case you need to clean your hands whilst out or travelling but there are no toilets to hand. I think the packet is a bit large to carry around in your handbag, they would also be useful if you were travelling or out with children as hand wipes, I wouldn't say use them on a child's face as they my be a bit harsh, however as hand wipes for children they would be ideal and the cute packet would make them more appealing. Price As I have mentioned I was brought these as part of a present, my Mum actually saw these being sold in a local Pound shop, this is excellent value for money especially as the wipes are of a good quality, she actually only brought them for the cute pink packaging to match the rest of my toiletries basket she had made up. This product is also available in some New Look stores and Amazon, here they are a little more expensive approximately £2--3. Personally I have not actually seen these sold anywhere else but I'm sure if you research online they are available else where. My Opinion Personally I really like the Me to You Hand and facial wipes, they are of an excellent quality, there is plenty of cleanser on them and they leave your skin feeling clean and fresh, they are extremely useful to remove make up or if you just want to freshen up. I particularly like the fragrance of these, although it is not a strong orange smell they do have a refreshing fragrance to them. They are definitely worth the money in my opinion, the only thing I would say is if you are sensitive to certain product these may be ones to avoid or if you do try them and have any reaction stop use immediately. Overall I would certainly recommend the Me to You wipes, they come in a cute packet and work very well.
