“ Brand: N-Spa / Type: Hand Wash / Subcategory: Moisturiser / Suitable for: Hand / What it does: Moisturizes, „
I do like N-Spa products and one of the nicest ones I have used most recently is their Coconut Moisturising Fruit Fix Hand Wash. I bought mine from Asda for £2 for a very large 500ml plastic tub with pump dispenser.
I bought this as a hand wash for my home for the downstairs loo. I prefer hand washes in bathrooms and loos rather than bars of soap as I think they are more hygienic. It wasn't until I started to use this hand wash though that I realized it isn't anti-bacterial and I do normally opt for this sort of hand wash.
I do like the pleasant smell of this rich and creamy hand wash. The overriding smell is one of coconuts but there is also a background hint of other fruits to this lovely wash. The hand wash is pale and creamy and feels almost buttery when you pump it onto your hands and begin to massage it into your skin. You don't need to use very much in order to achieve a good rich lather and it rinses off well under running water and does not leave any sticky residue behind.
Afterwards my hands are left feeling soft and silky smooth and with a hint of coconuts. Lovely! What I especially love about this product though is that it is recommended that you massage it not just into your hands but also into your nails and cuticles to improve the condition. I can vouch for the fact that after washing my hands with this product for approximately four to five weeks every day, there has been a noticeable improvement in the condition of my nails - not so much my cuticles, I have to say. However, my nails appear to be less prone to flaking and seem to be in better condition all round. I feel this is down to the wonderful moisturising effects of this hand wash.
The only downside of this product I feel is that it does not remove smelly things from your hands. For example, if you are chopping onions and don't want to have the smell remaining on your hands and fingers then I would probably opt to wash them with something like Carex for example, which I feel works better at eliminating smells like this from my hands. Although this is a lovely refreshing and moisturising hand wash it really does not work particularly well at removing stronger odours.
Overall though I do recommend this lovely hand wash and I shall e buying more once this tub is all used up.

Hand wash is an essential item to have in every bathroom and when I moved into my own flat this was no different. The bathroom is probably the best room in my flat and I have matching accessories and always make sure its squeaky clean. I tend to spend quite a bit more on things for my bathroom due to this.
During my 'big shop' around 3 months ago at Asda I spotted the N-spa hand wash on promotional offer for £2, although I didn't need a replacement hand wash the 'coconut' description was enough to twist my arm and tempt me into putting it into my basket.
I'd never sampled the N-spa products before but at £2 I thought there was little to lose and coconut is my fragrance of choice for hand washes and bath/shower products. The hand wash came in a standard, round soap dispenser bottle that is free standing and so fits perfectly on the side of my sink. The bottle is clear and the white hand wash can be seen inside it has black bold letters which looks very modern and funky. It also has a black spout which dispenses the soap and this is also black and can easily be wiped clean if any soap gets clogged up here.
The hand wash itself is a white/clear substance which is soft and smooth but not too runny which means it is easy to keep on your hands without the soap escaping through your fingers etc. The soap lathers up pretty quickly which lathers up into soft white bubbles. The coconut smell is prominent but it also smells quite fruity this adds up to a really fresh fragrance which does stay present on your hands long after washing.
As a side note, I do tend to have sensitive skin and this hand wash has always been kind and gentle on my hands and leaves them soft and smooth so it this is a point of concern when making hand wash purchases this n-spa hand wash would be a good choice.
I paid £2 for this hand wash which is standard for this type of product in my opinion I usually pay around £1.50 but I don't mind paying a little extra for a great product that not only is kind to my skin but smells great and stays put after washing. Highly recommended!
I always have handwash at every sink in my house. I go through a bottle a week normally so I always buy what's on offer. I saw this one in Asda for £2 for 500ml. The main reason I was drawn to it was the fact it is bigger than normal handwashes which normally contain 300ml and I have used N-Spa products in the past and liked them.
The bottle is round in shape with a pump action dispenser at the top. It has the word 'coconut' written across the front in bold letters and the word moisturising. If you are familliar with N-Spa products you will also know that they have a message written on the front relating to the product. Their packaging reminds me of Philosophy products.
To use this wash you simply dispense a small amount into your hands and massage all over. You then rinse under warm water to leave hands cleansed, soft and fruity fragranced.
The handwash itself is a rich creamy white colour when it is dispensed. Immediately you smell coconut, it reminds me of dessicated coconut it smells really sweet. The handwash gives a good lather from the smallest amount. It also rinses away cleanly leaving no residue on your hands.
I suffer from really dry hands and this is made worse by the fact I wash them a lot!
After using this my hands felt clean. They were also soft and moisturised. I also noticed after a few uses that my nails looked to be in better condition. When I read the bottle again I noticed that it does tell you to massage into your nails to improve their condition. The wash was good at removing everyday dirt it wasn't particularly good at removing odours from my hands though. I used it after chopping onions and my hand still smelt of onions. Other washes such as Dettol and Carex remove these odours no problem.
I would definately buy this again as it lasts longer than a normal sized handwash and it left my hands feeling soft, supple and clean. The only downside is that the wash isn't antibacterial which is something I like in my handwash particularly if it is used in the kitchen.
All in all though this is a nice product and I would give it 3 out of 5 stars.
When I was in asda a few months ago I noticed that their n-spa range was on offer for just £2.00 per item. Now I could have bought a lot of things there and then as their things just smell so lovely but I instead was good and just chose one item to take home. This was the coconut moisturising hand wash which now lives on my bathroom sink!
The coconut moisturising fruit fix hand wash comes in a 500ml clear bottle. The bottle has a black large pump for dispensing the hand wash and has black writing on the bottle. I think that the black writing against the white coconut cream looks really modern and classy. I do like the n-spa range in general as I think the way they make their products look means you can store them proudly in your bathroom knowing that they will look nice.
On all the n-spa products there is a little paragraph of writing and this product is no different and it says "I am told" said the wise man "that the sweet water inside the coconut is created by a sea maiden...as its beautiful scent touches your nose, her soft music and laughter surrounds you. Take her hand and follow her...I am told she makes dreams come true." I personally really like these little paragraphs of writing as I think they are always slightly romantic and I think it just adds some extra charm to the product as a whole.
To use the product you should firstly make sure that you have the black pump turned into the on position. This is not highlighted but the pump will not work until you have found this position. Once you have found the on position you should press the pump until some of the hand wash is dispensed. Initially it may take a few pumps to get the product flowing but I then find that just one pump per hand wash is necessary as it does dispense a generous amount.
You should massage the hand wash all over your hands and then rinse the product off using warm water. I find that the product creates a nice amount of lather on the hands and as you rub it in to your hands you can smell a lovely sweet coconut smell. The product rinses easily off the hands after wards and your hands do feel well cleansed and reasonably soft. The coconut smell does not linger for long at all on your hands though which is a real shame.
My hands can be quite sensitive to certain products but I have suffered no reaction to this n-spa product and neither has my son who also uses it to wash his hands after going to the bathroom.
I think this product is pretty good in all honesty and at just two pounds for the huge 500ml bottle I cannot complain at all. As I mentioned I have had this product for a good few months now, possibly even six months and I am still not half way through the bottle. Obviously in larger families it would be used more quickly but I still think it represents decent value for the price. The product looks really nice in my bathroom I think and just looks a bit more luxurious than your bog standard hand washes in my opinion and so I am pleased with my purchase....I just wish the scent lasted a bit longer!
Thank you for reading my review!
N-Spa or to give it its full name, Nirvana Spa is the UKs No1 Pure Spa.
The spa is in Berkshire so this may not be convenient or affordable for all. To allow us all to benefit from the Spa, N-Spa have released a range to shops which allows us to sample the luxurious products used at the spa in our own homes.
The range is quite extensive and offers some amazing pampering goodies. This includes bubble baths, body lotions, handwashes, scrubs and more. To promote the range further, there is an excellent choice of scents to choose from. Indulge in strawberry or blueberry. Maybe you want to go for something more exotic like coconut or perhaps something sweet like toffee. The choice is amazing.
Each product comes with its own little poem which adds a little class to the style.
Here we have the N-Spa Coconut Moisturising Fruit Fix Hand Wash (try saying it quickly). This is basically a liquid hand wash which is designed to cleanse, moisturise and delicately scent your hands.
N-Spa's little poem on this one is :
"I am told" said the wise man "that the sweet water inside the coconut is created by a sea maiden... as its beautiful scent touches your nose, her soft music and laughter surrounds you. Take her hand and follow her... I am told she makes dreams come true." Take the simple pleasure of the fruit, add the wisdom of Nirvana, make time for your hands and turn wash time into a blissful experience.
The hand wash comes in a large, chunky clear plastic bottle. On top is a handy and rather large pump dispenser which needs to be turned and popped up for first use.
The writing on the bottle is in black and contrasts well with the white liquid inside. The N-Spa logo and the poem are on the front. On the back is the directions for use, ingredients and contact details for N-Spa.
Once opened, the hand wash should be used within 36months.
Warning! We are told that this hand wash is not edible no matter how good it smells so don't say I didn't warn you ok?

**Availability and Price**
This hand wash can be bought from Asda along the toiletries aisle. It is also available online at www.asda.com. A 500ml bottle is priced at £2.00.
I have many loves in life..other than my family and friends, I adore my bath and cosmetic stuff and also fabric conditioners. Basically, if it makes me or my clothes smell good then I will love it!
My obsession with N-Spa products began last year when I came across the display in my local Asda store. A few aspects lured me in :
1. The choice of flavours
2. The special offers at the time
3. The packaging - very like the expensive Philosophy bottles.
Since discovering this range, I have purchased and been treated to many of the products. My favourite bubble bath was the strawberry one which no longer seems to be available. I also have many of the other fruity flavoured products. At the moment I have my eye on a sickenly sweet but oh so gorgeous toffee range..hint hint..gifts accepted!!
I was cruising the Asda aisles a few months ago looking for a new hand wash. I only use liquid ones as I feel they are less messy and unhyenic. When it comes to purchasing a hand wash, I have specific criteria which isn't unreasonable. The hand wash must be suitable for my family, clean hands, have a pleasant scent and be reasonably priced. So does this hand wash live up to my criteria..lets find out!
The bottle is simple yet stylish. I am a fan of clear bottles as I can see how much I have left. I also prefer the pump dispensers as this makes it easier to dispense if my hands are a bit grubby. The pump is a good size and larger than most hand washes I have used. This is ideal as I can get a good hold of it. This hand wash sits proudly in my bathroom.
I personally chose this hand wash over my usual Dove or Palmolive because I liked the sound of the scent. Coconut can be a hit or a miss as it can often be far too sweet and therefore sickly. The hand wash inside the bottle is pure white and has a medium consistency. You need to pump the dispense a few extra times to begin with as it will take a bit of effort to get the first try out the bottle. After this it is simple.
I found one pump enough to do both my hands. Rubbing this through my hands and my nails, the wash was incredibly smooth and the scent was delightful. Running them under some tepid water, I watched in awe as the tiniest of hand washes erupted into a spectacular and amazingly thick lather. The coconut scent became stronger with each hand movement and there was a simply gorgeous fruity undertone adding to the ensemble.
The lather and scent was so gorgeous that I really didn't want to rinse it off my hands but I was in a rush so had too! The lather rinsed off well with a few swishes and didn't leave any icky residue on my hands like some hand washes do. My hands smelled lovely even when fully towel dried. The strong, fruity coconut smell had been replaced with a subtle soapy, coconut and slightly fruity smell which lasts for a long time.
So far I was impressed and my delight went further as I discovered how soft and smooth my hands were. Some hand washes have a tendancy to dry my hands out and this has me reaching for the hand cream but this didn't. It is designed to be moisturising and it did an excellent job at this as my hands remained moisturised for several hours after using this.
At £2.00 for 500ml this is a bargain. You only need a tiny amount and therefore this bottle will last for several months as it has done with me. I have barely made a dent in mine despite daily use for a few months so this economically excellent value for money. It is a gorgeous scent and cleans well so thumbs up all round really.
Thanks for reading!
