Nuxe hand cream
Having just had work done in the house, and after lots of cleaning, my hands were suffering badly, so I decided to splash out on some hand cream.
The hand cream promises to nourish repair and soothe dry and damaged hands as well as fortify and protect the skin and combat the visible signs of ageing. As well as all of this it will help to strengthen nails, which is great because mine are in a dreadful state! It does all of this because it has high levels of natural ingredients (Precious oils, honey and plant glycerine) as well as Vitamin E.
PRODUCT AND PACKAGING...
The hand cream comes in a cardboard box with all of the inforation, written in several languages, on the back of the box. When I open the box, there is a plastic 75ml tube of the stuff with a screw on/off lid. So, I unscrew the lid and squeeze some of the product onto my skin. It's white and quite creamy with a faint but very pleasant honey smell. When I rub it into my hands, it feels really nourishing and seems to melt immediately into the skin, leaving no residue or greasiness. The smell remains but rather than having cream sitting on my skin making them slippy, there is just a very fine sheen on my hands.
The hand cream should be used as often as necessary and particular attention should be paid to the nail contours- obviously because the ingredients will help to strengthen the nails. I tend to find that the best way to use it is to rub gently into my hands and then use the excess to rub into my cuticles.
PRICE AND AVAILABILITY...
I bought mine on line although I can't remember the website but I do believe it cost £8.50, so not the cheapest hand cream ever. The website, www.nuxe.com has information on the different products.
The hand cream has really soothed my dry hands and flaking nails. I have used it frequently for the past couple of weeks, and find that because of the smell and the feel of the product I love to apply it and really do feel as though I am giving my hands and nails a much needed treat.
My hands have definitely softened and cracking round my fingernails have completely disappeared and my nails have now become stronger. This could well be down to the fact that I am not cleaning up dust as frequently but I do attribute a lot of it to the hand cream.
Although it is a bit pricey, it does last for ages and has a shelf life of 12 months once opened. A definite treat for hands and one which I will be repeating when this tube eventually runs out.
