      Very helpful

great product for dry and rough hands

I have never had a hand mask so when I came across Oriflame Reviving Hand Treatment Mask in one of their catalogues, I ordered it immediately.

Unlike most of the hand creams I have had, this hand mask comes in a round, face cream-like container. It has yellow and orange colour (something like nude but brighter) and and a transparent lid mostly covered with a sticker. The design isn't amazing, I would call it plain and ordinary but at the same time you can make sure that you use every single ml of this mask.

At first, I wasn't sure how to use it. According to the producer, you can either apply it for around 15-20 minutes and wash it off, or just apply it overnight. I have tried both ways. When I applied it for the first time, I couldn't do anything for this 20 minutes so I watched a film. However, it wasn't very convenient as I couldn't even put my hands on my lap (unless I wanted my clothes to get dirty which wasn't the case). I was glad when this time was over and I could wash my hands. Indeed, they were much softer and better nourished.

I also applied it overnight (and I still do it twice a week) and it was much more convenient. In the morning, my hands were were soft and after a couple of weeks of using it (you shouldn't use it more than two to three times a week) I could see a noticeable difference in the condition of my hands - they weren't dry anymore (and they had tendency to get dry quite quickly), they were much softer and better-nourished.

The mask itself is fairly thick but it doesn't really seem to make much difference to me this time and I am not sure why as normally I am not a fan of very thick creams. It has a very mild, cosmetics-like scent which I think is extremely difficult to describe - it is pleasant and feminine and it also disappears very quickly.

Overall, it is a very good product and it contains sweet almond oil and rich shea butter. One container of 75 ml costs £5.45 but it can be found on offer quite frequently and it will last for weeks.
