Just the name to me, almond milk, sounds luxurious and smooth and creamy and this is one of my favourite hand washes from the Palmolive range. I use a number of different hand washes and like to have them at my sink and in my bathrooms and readily available for guests and for the kids too. I think hand washes that come in bottles with a nozzle at the top are much easier to use than a bar of soap and I also think they are cleaner than a bar of soap too. I also think they are more hygienic as all you need to do to get to the liquid inside is press the little nozzle on top and you can do this with the side of your hand so as not to get your dirty hands all over the nozzle.
This handwash from Palmolive is described as a Delicate Care Liquid Handwash which has a soap free formula enriched with extracts of 100% natural origin of almond and aloe vera. It contains a unique combination of mild cleansers and a skin conditioner.
I actually like the fact that this handwash does not contain soap as I think it is a little bit gentlier on my hands than soap and does not dry them out like soap can. The lotion is really nice and creamy and really quite thick too which I like. This being the case I means I really only need a drip of it compared to other hand soaps/washes in order to clean my hands. It lathers up really quickly and coats all of my hands with just this small little dollop so it works really well and lasts a long time although with three of us using it all the time in the bathroom it doesn't last that long. I think the inclusion of milk is lovely as its like your hands are taking a little milk bath which is very good for your skin. I like the inclusion of aloe vera too as this always works well for my skin and is lovely and smoothing.
The smell is amazing. I wouldn't say its a nutty smell, you can't really smell almond in it, rather you just get a really nice sweet fragrant smell that lingers on your hands too which is nice.
You can usually pick up a 300ml bottle for less than £2 and often they are on special in Boots so keep a look out.
