Radox Clean & Moisturise Handwash
Advantages: Great value, anti-bacterial, caring, soothing, smells nice!
Disadvantages: none for me
I tend to use a lot of Radox products both in their shower range and also in their hand wash range as they are a manufacturer that I trust and feel happy for all the family to use.
We have six sinks in our house so we need quite a lot of hand wash to go round and I tend to have different varieties in several places.
I picked up this clean & moisture natural antibacterial hand wash with chamomile and jojoba oil together with several other varieties as they were all on offer for a £1 in Tesco although on checking their website just now they are currently selling it for £0.95p (usually retailing at £1.90) so an even better bargain is to be had!
This one is white in colour and comes in a 300ml recyclable bottle with a pump dispenser.
Radox likes to use natural ingredients that are 'active' in that they have particular properties that enhance the other moisturisers and ingredients they use as a base for their products.
Camomile is reknowned for its caring, soothing properties and although it doesn't state it specifically I googled it and this is where the naturally occurring anti-bacterial element comes in.
Jojoba oil is a natural conditioner which helps to keep the skin on your hands soft and smooth.
The product is quite thick and creamy and only one pump is needed to dispense enough hand wash which once mixed with water lathers up well and ensures thorough coverage and an adequate clean. This has a really lovely fresh smell and the scent of chamomile in particular lingers on your hands after use and helps to eliminate any unpleasant odours that your hands may have picked up whilst handling food etc. It does not smell medicinal or in any way anti-bacterial like some can but as this is a mild and natural anti-bacterial hand wash you don't have that but you do get a very clean and soothing effect on your hands.
My skin does not feel tight after use and this seems to prevent them from drying out especially as I tend not to wear gloves whilst cleaning etc. although I know I should. My skin does feel nice and soft and I do feel that this protects my hands well and as I am a bit lax when it comes to piling on the hand cream as often as I should, it's good to know they are getting some help from the hand wash I use to stay in good condition.
This product helps to maintain the skins natural pH balance, contains added moisturisers, is effective and caring and can be used by the whole family as it is mild enough for children. It has been dermatologically tested and as always stated has Radox's 100 years know-how behind it!
This coming from Radox, at such a low price but a good quality product means I can highly recommend this as a good buy.
Thanks for reading. x
Summary: A great value, good quality hand wash.
