We have several different hand washes dotted about the house, a more luxurious one in the guest loo downstairs and in our bathroom and antibacterial ones (like this one) in the kitchen and in the children's bathroom.

This natural antibacterial hand wash from Radox contains thyme & tea tree oil (a well known natural antibacterial agent) and the thyme helps to clean and refresh your hands. It also maintains the skin's natural pH balance and is effective and caring for the whole family as it has been dermatologically tested so I trust this product for my children to use.

The product is light blue in colour and comes in a 300ml plastic recyclable bottle with a pump dispenser with all pertinent info on the back of the bottle such as ingredients and contact information.

One pump is enough to ensure a thorough hand wash. This hand wash smells quite pleasant and the odour of thyme comes through the more astringent smell of the tea tree oil which is preferable as I prefer the smell of herbs to medicinal smells!

It lathers well and rinses off easily and leaves your hands feeling clean and refreshed without feeling dried out. The fact that his protects against germs is a plus especially when you have young children in the house.

This costs around £1.69 for a 300ml bottle and is one of those products that is often on offer - buy one get one free or two for etc. offers.

I do trust Radox products and although they are not he cheapest out there, only a little amount is necessary for each use so the bottle does last a long time and I do feel that this hand wash does protect the skin of the hands and the fact that it is naturally antibacterial is something that appeals to me.

I would recommend this product for the whole family.
