Advantages: Doesn't leave hands dry, decent price, effective

Disadvantages: Smell might not be to everyone's liking

I always keep a bottle of handwash at the kitchen sink as I find it useful and convenient, especially as I have a dog who tends to get wet and muddy at this time of year.

I don't really mind what I buy when it comes to handwash but I bought this as I figure you can't really go wrong with a brand name like Radox.

PACKAGING
This handwash comes in a clear 300ml plastic bottle. There is a pump action nozzle at the top, meaning that if you have dirty hands, you can pump this into your palm using the heel of your hand without having to touch the bottle. It's sturdy and reasonably short so it won't take up much room in your kitchen.

The front features the Radox logo and a picture of a sprig of thyme. Inside, the handwash itself is a pale clear turquoise colour.

SMELL
This contains thyme and tea tree oil, so the over-riding smell is tea tree. It smells very clean; medicated almost. I am not sure those who prefer softer, more floral scents would like this very much but it doesn't bother me what it smells like as long as it works.

USAGE
The consistency of this handwash is fairly thick so it won't run off your hands and down the plughole before you have a chance to wash your hands properly. This lathers up well and I find only a small blob is needed to give your hands a thorough washing.

AFTER USING
This has been dermatologically tested and promises to be gentle on the hands. I have found that my hands still feel soft after using this. I thought that they may end up on the dry side, or feel 'tight' like soap can leave your face sometimes, but this wasn't the case at all.

My hands feel extremely clean after using this which is great for peace of mind when it comes to germs, or, if you're like me, you're a neat freak who can't bear the thought of any lack of cleanliness.

PRICE
Prices for this vary according to where you buy it, however you will find this in supermarkets for less than £2. From memory I think I got this in a local shop for £1. Either way, you will not break the bank buying this. I have had my bottle for at least 3 months now and it's still only half empty (or full, for the optimists) so it's very cost effective.

WOULD I BUY THIS AGAIN?
Yes, I wouldn't hesitate to buy this again. I have zero complaints with it. Some may not like the anti-bacterial smell or scent of tea tree, but personally the strong scent just makes me feel like it's working better!

Summary: A good quality, effective handwash
