Advantages: Really moisturising, soothing, lasts all day, smells wonderful, non greasy.
Disadvantages: None I can think of.
The first thing I have to say, its that I absolutely adore this product. It is amazing. I hold Soap and Glory products in general in very high regard and Hand Food is no different.
Soap and Glory Hand Food is a gorgeous, luxurious hand cream. It is infact the best hand cream I have ever used. I have to admit I haven't used hand creams in the past as much as I am using one at the moment, but I have tried several different ones as of late and Hand Food is definately the best.
Lately for some reason, my hands have been feeling very dry. Dry to the point that over the backs of my hands and my knuckles in particular have been getting a bit red and irritated. After trying several different creams, which were not really doing much to help, much to my delight, I received Hand Food as a birthday present in a set from my best friend (who knows I love Soap and Glory). It was perfect timing on her part really.
Soap and Glory's Hand Food, as with all the rest of the Soap and Glory products comes in beautiful pink retro girly packaging. It has absolutely loads of information on the packaging alongside their usualy funny little quotes. You get 125ml for £4.85 which I think is a generous amount for a good price for something that works as well as this hand cream does! The tube has a flip top lid and it is really easy to dispense the desired amount.
The product states that it is a non-greasy, hydrating hand cream with shea butter, macadamia oil and marshmallow. Shea butter and macadamia oil are well known for their moisturising properties and marshmallow is a fantastic plant. It is really great for calming and soothing irritated skin.
Hand Food is extremely hydrating and just as they state, it is not greasy at all. I put it on just before I started typing this review up and it has sunk in already and does not feel greasy or slippery. It makes your hands feel super soft. Mine feel wonderful right now. The dryness has gone and it has really soothed the redness. What is even better is that it lasts all day. You only need to put it on once during the day and then before you go to bed and you are set.
At the moment with my hands being as dry as they are, I notice a difference when I forget to put it on. However at the same time, I think it is progressivly making my hands less dry in general as I carry on using it.
Soap and Glory's Hand Food also smells absolutely gorgeous! I love it. Especially when you put it on just before you go to bed. The smell is so lovely and soothing that it actually helps me to fall asleep at night.
Overall I have to give Soap and Glory's Hand Food a 10/10. I think it is a really fantastic hand cream. It is super moisturising, it lasts all day, its soothing, sinks in quickly and smells great. The price is very reasonable as well. Its gorgeous! :)
