Advantages: None
Disadvantages: Doesn't clean very well; Smells nasty; The pump was mega hard to get working to start with
I'm a bit of a handwashing freak and I always have been, my dad jokes about me being a bit OCD about it and I think he might have a bit of a point! Because I wash my hands shedloads of times a day I get through mega amounts of hand wash, looking round in Tesco yesterday I think I've used most of the different brands they sell!
This one came from Superdrug, I think the normal price is about 89p but I remember I brought 2 when they was on some sort of special offer.
The hand wash looks lovely, it's a creamy white colour and even though it said the smell of it was going to be cashmere and almond blossom I was still majorly disappointed that it didn't smell of coconut because that's what it looks like! The smell isn't all that nice actually, it's a bit of a musty floral smell that doesn't seem cleansing or anything to me. They should have stuck a bit of coconut perfume in it because that would have been better..... anyway, isn't cashmere a type of wool and not a fragrance???
The name of this hand wash is Indulgence but that's BS, there's nothing indulging about it and it's actually a proper boring hand wash to use. The texture is quite creamy when you first pump it out of the bottle but I think that's more that it LOOKS creamy because when I start washing my hands with it I always remember that it's definately not as creamy as it looks and doesn't even feel like it's cleaning my hands all that well either.
You don't get much of a lather and the hand wash seems to slip off my wet hands, that means that I usually have to pump some more into my hands halfway through washing because it doesn't feel like my skin is getting very clean.
I won't bother buying this again, actually I'm only using it up because I hate wasting anything so I'm using a bit more than I need to each time now just to get the bottle finished so that I can start on something else. Yesterday I did a bit of painting with my little sisters and when I come to wash my hands with this hand wash I noticed it didn't even get kids paint off properly and I had to go over my hands again using the bar of soap in the bathroom.
Another bad thing is that it took me for AGES to even get into this hand wash in the first place. You have to twist the top round so that the pump bit will pop up to be used, the trouble is that I must have spent 15 mins twisting the top from one degree to another and in the finish I had to actually pull the pump up with force and risk breaking it. That's a problem with both of these hand washes from Superdrug that I've tried and it done my head in because how hard is it to make a hand wash bottle that will work properly???
Not recommended..... rubbish!!!
Summary: It Might Be Cheap But That Doesn't Make It A Bargain!
