Great hand and body lotion for the summer.

Throughout the winter I always have to stock up on hand cream as the cold weather makes my hands unusually dry and cracked, so they need that extra care. Although my skin tends to be in a much better condition during the summer, I like to look after it and keep it moisturised, my hands included. As I work in an office and am constantly using my hands, I find that hand cream is essential to keeping hands soft and healthy.

I don't tend to stick to a particular brand of hand cream, and I find that as long as it does the job I am not too fussed. I have purchased Soap & Glory's hand cream which I have reviewed previously, but I just don't feel that it is effective enough to justify its price tag. Nowadays, I tend to just pick up the cheapest hand cream available, as long as it is by a brand I trust. Vaseline is a well known brand and being kind to skin and lip care, so I was over the moon when I spotted this steal in Poundland of all places! I can imagine that it retails much more than £1.00 in some of the bigger stores, so I would recommend visiting here for a bargain. I was really happy with the price and can't really complain about that.

It comes in a creamy yellow tube and contains all you would expect on a hand lotion. It is 75ml which is fairly small, but this makes it quite a handy size to pop in your handbag and carry around with you. This lotion is actually for hand and body, so it may well be available in a larger size in other stores, but I feel that the 75ml tube is only effective to use a hand lotion, as it would run out far too quickly as a body lotion.

You simply have to open up the cap to use it, and squeeze out a tiny amount into the palm of your hands. You really do not need much of this, meaning it does last quite long. The cream itself is a lovely texture as it is thick and creamy meaning it is of a good quality, however it rubs into the skin wonderfully. One of the best things about this hand lotion is that it soaks into the skin really quickly which I think is fabulous, especially if you're busy throughout the day like me! Many others which I have used take around five minutes to sink in completely and I find that a nightmare! Whereas this one is completely sunk in in a matter of seconds. As far as ease of use goes, I was once again extremely happy.

Now, the one thing which I really have to mention is the gorgeous smell of this. I am a sucker for nice smelling items, and I had not smelt this before purchasing. The smell of this lotion reminds me of holidays and sun tan cream and I really love its summery scent. This makes it perfect for carrying around on sunny days or taking along on your holidays. I could sit and smell it for hours on end, it is lovely!

Overall, this product does help to make your skin that little bit more moisturised and smelling delicious. It is by no means a wonder product, and if you are after something deeply moisturising, I would recommend delving that little bit deeper into your pockets. For me, this did the job and more and I am happy with it. I will definitely be stocking up on these if I see them in Poundland again as they are fantastic little products and perfect for the summer! Thanks for reading.
