One word - GORGEOUS!!!!
Now for some other words. I have explained in previous reviews that I am a hand cream junkie, and although technically this is not one, it still comes under the hand care umbrella, so therefore I have an opinion on it.
Vie at Home ( new branding, no longer part of the Virgin Company) products are a hidden gem for the most part. They are in the upper middle sector of products and although you are only able to purchase them via a consultant or via the internet, they should not be compared to others of that ilk. They have not skimped on ingredients, and are right up there with some of the top luxury brands.
This is a strange little blighter, and I wouldnt expect everyone to get on with it, if they are quite basic soap and water gals, but for those of you who like to pamper yourselves on a sunday night, fluffy bathrobe, nail varnishes, face masks and the like, then this is definately for you.
You might be a bit shocked at the size of the tub, its teeny, but whats the famous saying "good things come in small packaging" and this is exactly that.
Don't expect this to be your daily hand cream, its far too rich for that. This is a twice weekly treat that will change your dry, flaky, tight and uncomfortable hands into soft pampered digits to be proud of. I do recommend you exfoliate your hands first, either with a hand scrub or simply with some salt and olive oil. This will remove all the dry skin and give you a clean canvas to work on.
Massage a tiny amount of the balm onto your hands ( preferably at night), paying particular attention to the cuticles, and then leave it on (you could pop some cotton gloves on, if you dont mind looking like a wally) and in the morning wake up and be amazed at the difference. If only everything in life could be so easy and so effective.
If I could put more stars on the rating, I would!!
This is my miracle in a jar
This little jar will last me ages, as you only need a pea size amount to do the trick
This is a solid treatment, which melts when it comes into contact with your hands, and NOT for day time use girlies as its extremly greasy, but will sink into your skin in time. So giving that, stick to night time use like i do and wake up with baby soft hand.
The smell is lightly floral, and smells good enough to eat
I have very dray hand, which needs bucket loads of hand cream each and every day, and this is the only product i can recomment for a deep moisturing treatment, which treats the cuticles as well.
for such a reasonable price, this i highly recommend. please dont be put off by the small jar, as you honestly dont need much on each use, and you certainly wont be dispointed, I wasnt
