“ Brand: Virgin Vie / Texture: Cream / Type: Hand Cream / Suitable for: Hand „
Firstly I need to point out an error with the heading, the name rebranded after being taken over by a former member of the original team and is now no longer part of the Virgin brand. It is now branded as Vie at Home and is totally catalogue and internet based.
I am a former consultant and have as such had my hands on a lot of their products, which I have to say have all, bar one, impressed me very much. Their ingredients are high end, with lots of ingredients coming from the exclusive labs that other luxury brands use. Their packaging is lovely, and although it's pricier than some other brands, its definatley worth the money.
I am a bit of a lotions and potions girl, and the majority of my money goes not on shoes and handbags but on beauty products, and if I had to choose one desert island product it would have to be hand cream. I am an absolute hand cream addict, and there is not one room in my house, no pocket of a coat, no nook and cranny in the car that doesnt have a hand cream stuffed in it somewhere.
I have creams from all sorts of companies and one of my absolute favourites has to be this one.
I love love love it!! The tube looks great, but thats not what attracts me, its the cream itself. The consistency is lovely and thick and creamy, but importantly for a hand cream it sinks in easily, a feat that Vie at Home have mastered. There is nothing more horrendous than putting on a hand cream and having it sit there looking at you, refusing to sink in, or even worse, one that ends up going all bitty and rolling of the skin.
Its so softening, and delightful to use, it even smells delicious, not too strong, but like the smell you get wafting around a spa, all flowery and sensuous.
A little tip for applying hand cream, only apply it to the backs of the hands, as thats where its needed most, and once its all been absorbed, rub the remains into the palms, that way they still get moisturised but not overly.
