“ Brand: Waitrose / Type: Hand Wash / Suitable for: Hand / What it does: Cleanses, „
This Waitrose antibacterial hand wash is a really good product, for a start the label on the plastic dispenser looks very professional yet simplistic and minimal in design, I feel it really gives the impression it is cleansing and very hygienic almost looking like it would sit comfortably on a basin or a shelf in a hospital. The bottle is transparent and so you can see the hand wash which reveals to you how much is left and it is a terrific bright almost electric blue colour which makes you feel in my opinion further that it is cleansing although this is just a psychological thing with me. With just a small amount of this on your hand this cuts through dirt and leaves your hands smelling fresh and clean. There is no noticeable fragrance with this brand like some hand washes it just smells like other antibacterial products but in a very pleasant way. The liquid dispenses easily with the pump until there is only a little left at the bottom and then the pump no longer functions but this is the same problem found with many hand washes and is not isolated to this product. I have noticed you can buy top up bottles of this which you can pour in to the container with the pump dispenser which saves you purchasing a new one. Waitrose sometimes has the reputation of being pricey as it were and in some cases that is true but in fairness when you purchase something from their stores that costs more you do end up with very good quality items so you get what you pay for and browsing their premises is a nice experience. On their website a 250ml bottle of this is 77 pence which I think is a tremendous price, great value added to by the fact it is a Waitrose product which can in my experience be trusted implicitly.
I am a bit of a handwash whore....so not faithful to any particular brand, although, I could afford it, it would be Nranji. A bit of background.....I have fairly dry skin, and need to use a handwash on a regular basid, however spend half my life cleaning up after small children and washing my hands having wiped snot using my fingers!!!!! As i say, I am a hand wash whore...thus so, never settle on one particVlar brand unless its Molton Brown, which I adore. I bought this as it was reduced to 79p and have a spare toilet on the kids floor....but have been very pleasently surprised. It has been amazing! The only time I tend to go into the kids lav is to wash my handa after a nappy change as teh taps are a bit rubbish. I always use whatever is on special in that loo. I opted for an anti bac variety as it is primarily focused on poo laden nappies rather than a hand rinse in general. If that is the case, then rock on and buy as over half the price of the leading branded alternaertives. It leaves hands smelling clean and devoid of any nasties, however, dry and as if dipped in bleach. I would say that other brands can offer a clean finish without the need to splosh on a moisturiser as well.
