Advantages: I really cant think of any other that it was really cheap

Disadvantages: A waste of money, really pointless, flimsy

I think if we are all honest with ourselves, we have all brought those funny little gadgets from time to time, we think they will come in really handy but yet in reality they get pushed to the back of a draw and get forgotten about. Well, that was until I brought my Pack buster Pack Opening Multitool! It is quite a mouthful and it was when I was wondering around in a local town handyman shop that I spotted it, here are my thoughts on the product.

I believe I purchased this from an independent retailer and so cannot really advise where I purchased it from. The tool, the opening Multitool can be found in places like the Pound shop though and possibly B and M stores. I was stunned to see that the little gadget was only going to set me back by 79p! I even had a small amount of change from the pound that I handed over to the shop keeper! Now that is a bargain.

The best way I can describe this item, is that it is a tool for helping you get into those fiddly items that you buy that are covered in that really thick plastic packaging. This item almost looks like the shape of a mouse. It is white in colour with a couple of pink buttons on it. It is these buttons, three buttons in total that will operate the pack Multitool. The idea behind this is to stop you reaching for the scissors or even in one case, a knife and using the blades on this instead.

The three different attachments are the blade that I have mentioned (and the main reason I brought this) then there is a screwdriver and then a set of scissors, well like scissors but rather flimsy! I went to use this first and was really disappointed with it, the scissors are sat at the side of the tool and it was so cheap and flimsy that words cannot really describe it!

The screwdriver is one of those that is really small and allows you for example to get into a battery pack, I didn't have any reason to use this but had a little go with it and surprise, it was really fiddly and pretty much useless! This left me with the option of having the plastic cutter to use and again I have to say that I was disappointed.

This really was a silly buy and it was a waste of money, I am glad I spent as little as I did on it, all 3 of the cutting objects were so cheap, and as I mentioned, flimsy. I saw that this was no help to me on a couple of different occasions and realised that you do get what you pay for sometimes!

I really thought that if I tried adding any pressure to the cutter that it would fall apart! In summary, a moment of madness on my behalf has really been highlighted on the cheapness of this product.

1 out of 5 and that is me being kind!

Thank you for reading

Summary: A pointless gadget, what was I thinkning!
