Cath Kidston Ticket Holder
Advantages: Pretty, nice design
Disadvantages: More trouble than its worth sometimes
I was bought this ticket holder as a present, I wouldn't usually buy such a designer item for myself as trying to save the pennies at the moment! Nevertheless, this was a lovely gift to receive for my birthday last year.
I have often admired Cath Kidston products in department stores such as the Birmingham Bullring Selfridges and in the actual Cath Kidston outlets found in areas with designer stores such as Bristol!
I prefer some of the prints to others, as I find some of the shades too drab, but this ticket holder (as pictured) features a lovely light pink rose theme which is exactly to my taste.
I usually use this for train tickets and day pass bus tickets so I don't forget where I've put them in my pockets (as I am quite forgetful with things like this and prone to losing important travel passes! I sometimes fit my railcard in here too as my purse is getting a little tired and I'm out of space in my purse due to the large amount of loyalty cards I have recently acquired!
This is also useful on a night out to store my ID (driving license) and my bank card (should I be so reckless as to take it out with me!) However, this is quite small and so I would recommend sticking it in a zip up pocket or inside a secure place inside a handbag to reduce risk of losing it.
I prefer to use my purse to hold most tickets as it's an extra thing to remember to stick in my handbag, so if I hadn't been bought this as a prezzy I'm not sure I would have bought it myself, though I have previously admired ticket holders in Accessorize at a slightly cheaper price tag.
The design is simple and effective for purpose, with a very pretty flower print for a feminine look to the product. It's very nice if you have matching Cath Kidston stuff.
These fold out with three compartments which is ample space for everything you need to take out with you and can prove less bulky than a purse if you don't strictly need to take a purse out with you.
--Price and availability--
These are online for £6 each plus delivery on eBay, John Lewis and Cath Kidston online. Cath Kidston products are available in many department stores and are stylish and feminine.
The Cath Kidston range also features tote bags, aprons, cooking utensils, bags, raincoats, stationary - you name it!
I give this four stars, as Cath Kidston products are slightly too expensive for me to justify spending the money on pretty little extras, however as a gift it is a lovely thought.
Summary: Cute but pricey!
