Advantages: reasonably priced, wide range of designs, practical

Disadvantages: none

I have a bit of a Cath Kidston addiction, I really like Cath Kidston products and I have quite a few of the bags, purses and other items that she sells.

I received a Cath Kidston ticket holder as a Secret Santa gift earlier this year. Our Secret Santa gift limit was just £5.00, and so when I opened this little Cath Kidston gift I was a bit taken aback and shocked as I thought that 'Santa' must have spent way more than £5.00, as I know that Cath Kidston products are normally very expensive. However it turned out that although 'Santa' did spend more than £5.00, he only actually spent £1.00 more, as this little Cath Kidston ticket holder was actually just £6.00.

As with most Cath Kidston products this comes in range of different colours and designs, the majority of which happen to be floral. I have the ticket holder in the mini dots fabric, in a beautiful berry red colour - a very festive colour choice there Santa! I really love the design and colour of this as I think that it makes it look quite funky and trendy, and it's also easy to find at the bottom of my overstuffed handbags.

The ticket holder itself is made from a durable PVC coated cotton, and so any spills or make up explosions just wipe off this easily enough with a tissue or a wet one. It folds up like a tri-fold wallet and it's really small when folded, it's basically just the size of a credit card or your driving license. When the ticket holder is opened it has 3 internal pockets to hold your travel pass, tickets, receipts, cards, or whatever else you choose to pop in there. The interior of the ticket holder is also lined in the same beautiful berry red colour mini dots PVC coated cotton, and the internal pockets have clear PVC windows so that you can see the contents of each pocket. The little Cath Kidston logo is sewn onto the middle pocket.

I can honestly say that this is something that I never would have ended up buying for myself, as I would have thought that I'd not really get any use out of it. However I've actually had a lot more use out of this than I thought I would.

I use this to hold a travel pass if I'm working away from home and get a weekly pass or ticket, or to hold my Oyster card when in London, I stash my train tickets and taxi receipts in this to then claim back from work and this stops me losing most of them, I pop my overseas loyalty cards in this to use whilst travelling, etc. I like that it has the 3 internal pockets so that I can keep things separate and organised. Each of the pockets is quite roomy too, I can fit 3 debit cards in each section, or a wide selection of tickets and passes.

I'd certainly recommend this little Cath Kidston ticket holder, and I think that it makes a really lovely little inexpensive gift for someone.
