WHAT IS IT?

A cotton bag with a motif of Mickey and Minnie mouse on the front. It has long bright blue handles that are a good length so you can wear it over your shoulder or bunch the handles up if you want to carry it by hand.

THE DESIGN

The bag is made from cotton and has a nylon lining and straps.  It is a grey bag with just a small amount of colour on Minnie Mouses hat, this is very effective with the blue handles and makes the design stand out much more than it would if it was all brightly coloured.  The bag is 36cm square and  is quite narrow, the shape of the bag is non stretchy so you are restricted as to what you can carry in it. I use it as a swimming bag because it is too small for a shopping bag.

IS IT ANY GOOD?

I love the design of this bag because the Minnie and Mickey characters are drawn to look classic instead of the modern illustrations. It isn't very roomy inside but the handles are strong so you can put heavy items in it without risking damaging the bag, you should still not overload it but the thin width means it would be hard to put anything too heavy into it.  I don't use it for shopping unless I know I am only going to buy light products.

There is no fastener so the bag is open at all times, I don't like this and think there should be at least a press stud in the centre of the opening for security or the way the bag is shaped a zipper could have been added.  I would use it as a basic handbag if it fastened but cannot carry my purse or anything of value in it.

The straps are very comfortable on my shoulder even when the bag is full and quite heavy, they don't dig into my skin and don't slip off my shoulder as I am carrying it. When I have unpacked the bag I hang it up using the handles so that the Mickey and Minnie design is showing because it is a good decorative design.
