Gigi make very affordable leather handbags and this particular one is my favourite, it cost me £50 from an online store which was cheaper than the one I saw in a department store so I was glad that I shopped around first. It is a black leather handbag which is best worn across the shoulders. It is a great every bag as it has plenty of storage compartments and enough zipped ones to provide some extra safety as well. It is 25x18x6.5 cm in terms of dimensions which I guess is about a mid sized bag and this is certainly enough to accomodate all of the essentials.

I like the quite simple understated design quality on this bag, the leather is nice and supple and the strap is comfortable to wear it is wide enough to ensure that it does not dig into my shoulders even when full up. The stitching is very strong and I like bags that have a flip over top to hide all of the inside compartments, the only niggle that I have is that the flip over top is secured by a magnetic buckle and personally I would have preferred a normal clasp just for extra security as the magnetice won can prose open easily based upon my experience.

On the back of the bag there is a zipped compartment which gives easy access to essentials and while carrying the bag this zipped compartment is against your body. As I travel a fair bit on the tube I'm always quite security conscious with my day bags and I like this feature. Inside the bag there are three compartments that have a nice quality lining, in one of these there is also a zipped compartment for valuables and all three compartments open out nice and wide making it easy to find your items. There are also some seperate card holders which I never use and I never use the mobile phone holder either but it is there if you need it. What I do like is that there are a couple of pen hoders as well and these are useful as pens are a pain to find at the bottom of a bag.

Overall this is a comfortable, well made bag. Mine is black in colour and the soft leather is very supple and retains its looks over time even after a fair bit of use, for the price it has been a great acquisition. The strap is easily adjustable so can be worn across the body or over the shoulder as well.
