At school and at college I would always use a Jansport bag. I definitely prefer backpacks to handbags when it comes to school because I usually carry a LOT of books, folders, lunch etc so I need a decent bag that is very sturdy. Jansport bags are just this.

They are a decent size so you can fit a LOT of stuff into them, and there are many several compartments so you can seperate possessions such as mobile phone, ipod etc to your homework and schoolwork. The smaller compartments are a good size and there is even places to fit spare pens. Ideal if you just need to let somebody borrow one for a second or something!

The straps are adjustable and I have always been to find the ideal fit. HOWEVER, whilst they are generally decent, there has been one time that the straps just get too damaged/knackered and end up breaking..and yeah, walking around with a strap hanging down and the other on your shoulder isn't the best look really!

The bags are generally quite fashionable. I have a nice pink one with a trendy pattern and people have complimented in the past how they love my bag.

I would definitely recommend these bags for school and college.
