The Eldorado is a small unusually shaped little bag that could be unisex in certain colours like Black or Ecpresso Brown.
It is from Kipling's Basic Range and is made form water resistant fabric and also has a water resistant lining in pale blue. The fabric is a sort of mottled crinkle material.
Being small and lightweight this bag weighs next to nothing.
The shoulder strap is fully adjustable so it can be shorter to go over the shoulder or longer to go across the body.
This is definitely a small bag so you need to be disciplined when you use it. I also have larger Kipling bags but find this one very useful for when you want to be out and about with just your essentials and do not want to be hindered by a bag - with this worn across your body you hardly know it is there.
The layout of the bag is unusual - it is made up of various sections - the front has a zipped pocket outside where you can keep money. Lift the flap and underneath is a slip pocket. Pull this whole pocket up (it is held to the back with Velcro) and there is another slip pocket for documents etc and some smaller pockets for cards. To the back of the bag is a zip which opens to reveal a separate pocket - so it is more like an organiser bag than a conventional handbag. It is really hard to describe the design so it may be best for you to search for pictures on the internet to give you a better idea - I wasn't sure myself what it contained until mine arrived.
As with all Kipling bags the zips are strong and sturdy and have large round pulls. The shoulder strap slides to the required length very easily and then it just stays in place. The bag is water resistant and although Kipling do not officially recommend it, the bags can be washed in a machine on a gentle cycle or, as I prefer to do, just gently wash by hand. Though the bags do not easily get dirty and anything can usually just be wiped off with a damp cloth.
Along with most Kipling bags comes an attached Monkey on the outside which can also be used as a keyring. The monkey is in homage to Rudyard Kipling's Jungle Book story. Personally I always remove mine when I buy the bags. The monkeys all have individual names after people who work for Kipling and many people try and track down a monkey with their name on - each colour bag has a different named monkey - I have yet to find one with my name.
As this is a small bag I have to make sure I only pack the necessities - some money and credit card in the front zipped pocket. My phone in either the back or front zipped pocket. My camera in the inside slip pocket with a small spare battery. Some lip gloss and a comb and tissues in the other inside slip pocket. So you see it is fine if you can be disciplined about what you take out with you.
