Lace seemed to really come into fashion late last year which was perfect for me as it came at a time when Id just bought a lace dress and shoes so for once I was spot on with my purchases. Anyway this dress is something that I wear out loads because it in my opinion is the dress that suits me the best and Im always getting told by others how 'mint' the dress so a few weeks ago I started to search around for a handbag to match - seeing as Ive already got the shoes. I happened to find one on New Look that I really liked and was planning to order until I saw this 'Lipsy Lace Clutch Bag' on sale on amazon and because it was so cheap and as I knew it would match the outfit PERFECTLY I bought it immediately and I am so happy I did because I use this bag all the time. My bargain Lipsy purchase.

Other Info: This is available in Black & Silver and Black & Nude - I personally went for the first option. This is described as a heart shaped, statement piece which is perfect for evening wear - but in my opinion it can be easily used in the day as well. This IS a clutch bag but it has a small strap should you want to wear it across your body for extra protection of your things which is how I tend to wear it most of the time.

This bag in reality does look exactly like the image with this review so if you are buying online like I did what you see is what you get. The bag is in a heart shape that is silver in colour with a lace overlay over the top - the lace is floral and the same type of material as a net curtain only much better quality and much better looking. At the top of the bag is a magnetic fastening which can be popped open and closed shut very easily and even though I didnt think a magnetic fastening would be strong enough to close the bag for good for Ive found it to be very secure - its never opened by itself when Ive been carrying it around anyway so your stuff will remain safe as long as you close it properly. This is designed to be a clutch bag and it is very easy to hold and keep hold of that way but it also has a silver cross body strap if you cant be bothered to carry it around that day or you want to make sure your stuff is extra safe on a night out - I prefer the cross body option BUT using it as a clutch is a nice option.

The inside of the bag is a silky, black material and the inside is actually quite small - which I think most people will have guessed due to the shape of the bag. So you wont be able to fit loads of things in this bag but its good for going out/everyday use because I dont carry that much stuff around with me on a daily basis anyway so its the perfect size for my make-up, perfume, change and Ipod which is all I need to carry around with me. Design wise this is a gorgeous bag that look high quality and actually is - Ive owned it for a good few weeks now using it all the time and there is no signs of damage at all. You might not be able to fit a million things in the bag but its great for everyday essentials.

Now due to the lace design of this bag it might not match all colours or styles but to be honest Ive been wearing it with loads of different things and it has matched everything so far. While I would say that this is better for evening wear because of the clutch/lace design it is still okay to wear this in the day as well as it can really jazz up an outfit. Ive been using this bag with simple jeggings, black top, black flats and it really manages to dress up that outfit which would normally be so boring so this bag really is an investment because if your anything like me you will be using it all the time - night and day! Highly recommended - get it now while its only £10 - for a Lipsy bag that retailed at around £50 when I first noticed it that is an amazing bargain.
