      Advantages

      Disadvantages

      A great bag!

It's no secret that most women love shopping.
It could be shopping for a variety of things, shoes, accessories, cosmetics, books.
Give us unlimited shopping funds and we will happily find things to spend it on.
For me, one of the things I like shopping for is bags.
Note: I did say one of the things... I could easily shop for others :P

And well, around a year ago I came across this bag from Debenhams.
If after looking at the picture of the bag/liking the sound of it/men: needing a gift idea for a woman.. I will happily let you know that Debenhams still sell this bag for £40. *Edit* It's now come down in price to £28.. Much Better!
So although I got it a year ago.. it can still be purchased and found online or in-store.

Now the bag itself, the image really doesn't do it justice.
It's a lovely khaki coloured floral printed bag which can be handheld or put over your shoulder.

What I tend to like is that the strap is big meaning it can easily be swung onto your shoulder and is rather comfortable to carry around.

The bag has two grab handles and a popper fastening.
The first thing that catches your attention with the bag is the floral print.
I tend not to go for big printed bags but this one really caught my eye and I did like it as soon as I saw it.
The floral pattern is done well so that it is not too bold in design or bright in colour.
As the flowers on the bag are small it does look like a rather nice patterned print.

Owning the bag for quite a while, I can tell you that the design/colour of the bag has not faded and is still of excellent quality.
In fact it is of excellent quality all-round, and the handles and bag have no signs of wear and tear even though it's one of my favourite bags that I have used daily.

The straps of the bags have buckle detail and a detachable logo of the bag on one of them with 2 floral print buttons, which I quite liked so I never took it off.

On opening the bag you will find the bag is split into two compartments with a zipped pocket in the middle.

As well as another zipped pocket on one side of the compartment, and on the other side a phone pouch which is an elasticised pocket.

The inside of the bag is a light khaki green material matching the outside.
I like that the bag has separate compartments as it allowed me to organise my bag a bit (ha yes I know.. organise your handbag?!?) but I mean I know how annoying it can be when you are looking for something in your bag and you're shuffling around trying to find your purse or keys etc. (you know it can be a pain if your at a till point and there is a queue behind you).
Men: we can sense your eye-rolling and tutting behind us!

So the bag's two compartments are quite handy as it can allow you for example to separate your purse, keys, vouchers... from your tissues, pieces of paper that may or may not have information you need on it, compact mirror, lip balm etc.
Oh the things we put in our bags. We cram as much as we can in there even though we know we probably won't need half the stuff in there!

The zips on the inside of the bag are also of good quality and easily open/close without getting stuck and the popper button has never had any problems in staying shut or opening.

In case you want the official product details and specification, I'm pasting it below from the website.

"This khaki hibiscus printed handheld bag from Mantaray features a popper fastening, a zip interior compartment, an internal zip pocket, an internal mobile phone pocket, gold rose stud embellishment, mock buckle handles, tie sides, a grey trim and a floral print".

      HWD: 27 x 36 x 14 cm
      Shell: 54% polyurethane, 46% cotton
      Lining: 100% polyester
Internal zip compartment, internal zip pocket, internal mobile phone pouch

I really do recommend this bag, I think it's a great bag that apart from looking nice is also practical and spacious inside.
At £40 it may be a bit more pricier than other bags available but it really is of excellent quality and one that will last a long time without getting shoddy looking.
I have taken the bag outside in light rain, without any problems but would not recommend using it in heavy rain/bad weather as i'm not sure if it may affect the material of the bag or change it's colour.

I give the bag 5 stars and would recommend it.
(In case you are interested, the Item No of the bag is: 0890104825)

      Thanks for reading :)
