I recently treated myself to a new purse as my old purse looked grubby and the zip kept on sticking usually as I was at a check out about to pay for something. I am a big fan of Pauls Boutique, its a fairly new brand and make amazing unique handbags and clothing. I was browsing the Pauls Boutique website to see if I could find a new purse and there was so much choice. I settle on the "pipi" purse and it cost me £19.00 and was promptly delivered 3 days later, each bag and purse has a unique name and I bought it purely for the size of the purse. You can also buy pauls boutique items from Bank Fashion, Selfridges, Topshop and from House of Fraser. The purse is small and has a wallet section and a coin section, I chose the patent black purse as I like to change my bags around often and needed a purse that would match all my bags and the glossy black pipi purse is perfect. The purse is 11 cm wide by 8.5 cm tall, on the front of the purse it is slightly folded over and has a gold square mounted on the centre of the purse, on the gold square it has "pauls boutique london" engraved on it. The folded over front section opens with a popper clasp and this opens to access the wallet are where I store my bank cards it has 5 spaces for cards and also has a clear window in the purse where I store my daughter picture. The interior of the purse is finished in a metallic gold and looks very trendy. The coin section is found on the back of the purse and has a twist clasp opening, its easy to open the twist clasp as my first impressions were that I would be quite fiddly but I managed without any problems, the coin section does not hold a lot of coins, I over filled my purse with coins and the clasp wouldn't close. Its not a big problem as I prefer to carry my cards to pay for things as I find it a lot safer. I love how well made the purse is, there is a lot of detail in the purse and even the fancy interior of the purse, its very shiny and glossy looking. It looks very trendy and is small enough to fit into my clutch bags for nights out. Its very versatile and is great for day or night use and its easy to keep clean, my old purse was filthy and I had only owned it 6 months as it got covered with make up that was lying in my handbag but my new purse can be wiped clean with a damp cloth and it comes up like new. It has ample card space for me and holds enough coins for me and like the fact is smaller than my old purse as it means less weight in my handbag. I love pauls boutique and will be buying the pipi purse in the patent purple next. Its well worth the price for a designer purse.
Love, love , love this purse! Paul boutiques is one of my favourtie designers, but this is by far one of the best purses i have bought so far, it is very cute, great colour and small enough to fit in your handbag on a nightout but also big enough using for shopping trips. The purse is quite small measures 11cm wide x 8.5cm, but it is a perfect size for night out's etc. The down side of this is that the price is a bit steep @ £18 for a purse, however i can justify this as they usually last along time and also worth it if you are wanting to treat yourself or a friend etc, they also come in all different colours, and i am even thinking of buying another in hot pink as i love it. I would definatley reccomend this purse if you are looking for something new, it also looks good as well doesnt look cheap and looks like it will last as well. I would go out and buy it now!!!
Now anyone who knows me, knows that i LOVE LOVE LOVE pauls boutique. i got my first item which was a skirt about 4 years ago! Anyway i went to oxford street topshop in april to buy a pauls boutique bag ( which i did ) and i spotted this while i was looking. Now pink is my fave colour and the shade of this pink is lovely, a soft girly bubblegum pink which is suitable for young girls and adults. Now most pauls boutique items are heavily embellished with transfers and chains etc but this is very plain and classic looking. It is a plain bubblegum pink patent purse with a shiny gold metal rectangle stating the company name. You can also get other colours like black and baby blue and so on, so there is a colour for everyone. The brand is fairly easy to get hold off if you live in london like me or own a computer. Selfridges and large topshops stock it and there is also a website. The purse is off good quality however as it is patent it gets scratched incredibly easily, i notice it more when i hold it in light areas, which is annoying but not the end of the world. The purse retails for £18 which i think is a fair price for a well known brand. Even if you have not heard of it ( shock horror ) i am sure you have seen many a school girl rocking a bag or coat like i always use too and still do! There is a downside however it really does not hold coins well and if there are too many then it will not close, also if there are too many you can see the indent through the material and this also messes up the purse. I recommend only putting £1s and 50ps in to it and keeping your coppers in a jar at home. There is room for cards inside and cash off course, the inside bit does not hold any problems only the back bit which holds the coins. The inside is a lovely mettalic gold, the gold and the pink work very well together. Pauls boutique is great to buy as a gift any girl would be pleased to recieve this purse! So run to topshop my lovelies and fall into the magical world of pauls boutique!
I was seeking a small purse to take on holiday with me, as I wouldn't need as many card compartments nor cash compartments. I am a huge fan of Paul's Boutique, therefore spotted this purse and knew I had to have it. This is the Pipi purse, and is 11cm wide and 8.5cm small, which is about the standard size of a purse, as opposed to my larger 'wallet style' one which is quite bulky and only fits in larger bags. This is far more compact and easy to pop into bags on nights out. It retails at £18.00 which is fairly steep for a purse, however it is the cheapest one which Paul's Boutique have to offer. I feel that it is reasonably priced as it is a high quality purse and I believe it could last me some time. It is branded and looks good, so why not fork out £18.00 and treat yourself? The reason I liked this so much is because they aren't tacky looking. A lot of people perceive the brand to be tacky and cheap in their designs, whereas these purses look much more sophisticated, and I think more people would be interested in these purses. As well as this, there is such a wide range of designs you can get in the Pipi purse and these include: * Patent Black * Blue Glitter * Raspberry Glitter * Purple Glitter * Baby Blue * Baby Pink (as shown in image) * NEW - Sailor (nautical themed) * NEW - Beige Muted Leopard As you can see, there is such a wide range of choice, so there is something to suit what you would like, and I find this a great advantage. The purse is a foldover one, and on the front is a metal plated logo which simply reads 'Paul's Boutique, London'. Furthermore, the interior is gold all over (excluding the leopard purse which has a hot pink interior). Unfortunately, this is a little cheap looking but doesn't bother me too much. Inside, there are five card slots, meaning you can still carry around your most important cards, but it saves taking all the cards you own. On top of this, there is a clasp at the back of the purse which allows you to put in your coins. There isn't a great deal of room for coins, therefore this is definately more for those who often carry notes and cards, as it doesn't hold much cash at all. Overall, I am very happy with this purse, and I found it useful for taking on holiday, or if I am just travelling away for a few days and don't have to carry all the items that are usually in my purse. I was a little disappointed that you don't get a Paul's Boutique charm like you do with all the other purses, but generally this purse is very high quality, and you do get what you pay for.
