“ Brand: Radley / Type: Shopping Bag / Tote „
This is a review of the latest bag I have to add to my collection of Radley bags. I spotted this in a Tula outlet store window and mentioned I liked it and my husband bought it for me as an anniversary present. I do shop in Poundland a lot but I also have occasional expensive tastes when it comes to bags and clothes!
The bag is made of a hard wearing material with leather detail and has the Radley dog logos all over it in a jacquard print. It has a zip all the way round the outside so you can completely close the bag and it also has a small zipped interior pocket plus a slip pocket which I find handy for my phone. The bag has long handles so you can hold it or wear it over your shoulder and it also comes in several colours: black, daffodil, watermelon, brown and marsupial which is a light cream colour (I have the brown version). A dinky metal Radley dog is featured on the top of the bag and a leather branded patch is on the back.
The bag is RRP price £139 which is quite expensive but I managed to get it at the outlet store for £67 instead which is still a lot of money but then it is a beautiful bag!
I am saving this bag for nice days out as it is too nice to use for an everyday bag. I am a bit disappointed that there are not studs on the base of the bag which would make it more hard wearing and I was also a bit gutted when I got the bag home that it did not come with a dust bag which all my other Radley bags have come with and it just helps with protecting and storing the bags when not in use. I do think that the Radley bags are expensive but I seem to have accumulated lots of purses and bags from the range over the last few years and they are all really great quality items. I think I have a bit of a weak spot for these cute bags and a husband who is more than willing to buy them when desperate for birthday, Christmas and other celebration present ideas!
As usual with these bags, often the best bit is not even on show! I love the lining of the bag which features the well- known Scottie dog on a silky print. I just think the lining finishes off the bag really nicely and endorses the quality of the brand.
I would like to say that this will be the last Radley bag I buy (OK so DH bought it really!) but I can't make any promises. Living close to the Tula outlet is deadly as I always have to go in 'for a look' when visiting the outlet which is situated near Mansfield. I am pleased with the discount though as the bag was in the sale for less than half price and any fellow shopaholics will agree that is a bargain!
