On the front of the purse is a metal lock which simply turns to open the purse and just needs turning again the stop the flap from opening. The metal lock features four triangular studs. At both sides of the lock there are four rectangular eyelets which both have a small patent strap going through. The eyelets sit on a faux snakeskin pattern which is the same colour as the purse.

Last year my lovely fuschia leather purse from River Island decided not to be so reliable and the zip decided to break. I had, had the purse for a while and the zip couldn't be replaced but it took me about six months to finally have it replaced! Fortunately my other half had taken me Christmas shopping and I was able to pick out the purse I wanted. After looking in various stores such as John Lewis, Fenwicks and Debenhams nothing really took my fancy and they were either too heavily priced or quite plain and boring.
