I actually bought this bag for my sister for her birthday a while ago, and it has somehow ended up at my house since I asked to borrow it and never really got round to give it back (good job she isn't reading this review or else she'd remember and demand it back asap!).

The bag is from River Island and is a faux black leather bag with a long black chained strap. It has a lovely design look on the outer of a tassel loop and a gold plated River Island design. The bag is a rather odd design as it folds over down in half, with a popper to close, but also has a zip to seal the entry. I like this as I much prefer zips to ensure my bag is closed but it is a little bit of hassle when out and about to undo the popper, pull the bag up, unzip it, then root around all the way in the bottom to find something like my oyster card or keys. Grr!

When the bag is unfolded it is actually an A4 shape but it doesn't really seem suitable to use it in this size as it does not look nice and the River Island logo would be upside down and facing inwards. However, when it is folded, the bag looks like a large clutchbag, and since I bought this online it is actually bigger than I envisioned it to be. Inside the bag is one open pocket on either side, of the lining which could possible slip in a packet of tissues or an oyster card, but not quite my phone (samsung galaxy s3). It can fit a reasonable amount inside, like a small umbrella, phone, keys, purse, etc so I call it one of those Mary Poppins bags where it looks small from outside but people are always surprised by what I am able to pull out of it!

Overall I do like this bag, and would recommend it as a nice, stylish everyday or evening bag. The effort of getting in and out of it is no quick job, so I will knock off a star for this but otherwise it's another winner bag from River Island to (temporarily until my sister remembers!) add to my collection. This was a nice reasonable buy from Asos for 25 quid so it doesn't break the bank either for anyone who likes the look of this :)
