“ Brand: Ted Baker / Type: Purse „
Among my birthday presents in May I was extremely pleased to receive a pink Ted Baker purse, the Ted Baker Haylin Enamel Bow Matinee Purse to be precise. it was perfect for what I wanted, it had a reasonably sized coin sections, a wallet section for my notes and sections for my cards. The purse came in a small rectangle box, this had the Ted Baker logo on the front of it and from what I can remember I'm sure it had a picture of a stamp on it designed to give the impression of a parcel. The lid simply lifted off of the box to revel the purse inside. The box itself was just a little bit bigger than the purse meaning it sat securely inside to prevent it from moving around too much. The purse is made from a shiny pink patent leather, it is rectangle in shape and is made up of a wallet section which is held shut with a small silver popper and a sizable coin section held shut with a bow shaped clasp. The shiny pink outer of the purse is edged with a contrasting stitch in pale pink , this goes around the whole edge of the purse. On one side of the purse the words Ted Baker are embossed into the shiny pink leather. The wallet section of the purse is made from a pale purple leather, this matches the contrasting stitch on the outside, it has 4 card sections on one side of the wallet as it opens, 2 of which are positioned vertically and 2 horizontally, there is also a slightly larger pocket which could be used for cards or any other items you wish to keep in it, the card sections are only large enough for one card each but personally I find this easier as it means you do not have to spend ages rummaging around for the correct card, the larger pocket could probably fit about 3 or 4 cards in it. In the wallet section there is also a larger pocket running the whole length of the purse when fully opened, this is designed to hold notes/ paper money, the inside of this pocket is lined with a shiny/ silky fabric, it is grey and black in colour and has pictures of roses covering it. This section for notes opens up quite wide so could easily hold a lot of notes or any other paper items you want, the wallet keeps the money flat, bending it in half when the wallet section is closed The coin section of the purse again is quite large, useful if you end up with a lot of coins, as with the pocket for the paper money this is lined with the same black and grey coloured rose fabric, a total contrast to the shiny pink outer of the purse and the pale purple inner of the wallet section. The coin section has a metal frame with 2 small hinges, I cannot decide if this is a yellow gold colour or silver, in some lights it looks gold in others silver, this section is fastened with a bow shaped clasp which is pale purple in colour, it has TB engraved into it, to open the coin section you simply lift the bow up one side and clip in place to close, this can be a little stiff to start with. As I have mentioned the coin section can hold quite a lot of coins without bulging and a battle to get it closed as with some smaller purses. The purse as a whole is not massive measuring 9(H) x 19(W) x 2(D)cm, I particularly like the size of this Ted Baker purse, although of a reasonable size suitable to hold all of your money and cards at the same time, when closed/ folded up it does not take up a large amount of space in your handbag, I can easily fit the purse into a lot of my handbags when going out for the evening. This particular purse can be purchased from Ted Baker shops or online, it is also available in a variety of shops including John Lewis which is where mine came from. Although I did not buy the purse myself I do know that it cost £65.00, whilst this isn't the cheapest purse available you are paying for the name Ted Baker, also the purse is made to a very high standard, is made from 100% leather and is of an excellent quality. Whilst I have only had the purse for a couple of months it is proving to be very hardwearing and I am expecting it to last me a very long time. I would definitely recommend the Ted Baker Haylin Enamel Bow Matinee Purse, whilst it is a little on the expensive side it is well worth the money, it looks stylish, is hardwearing and also of a decent size meaning you can keep everything in one place rather than having separate purses. I would recommend this purse to anyone looking for a new purse which is suitable for all occasions.
