I am a self confessed Ted Baker-holic. I already own a make up bag and a tote bag, and wanted to add to my collection. I have always lusted after the purses but they are just so pricey. After my last purse went a bit tatty, I decided to take the plunge and invest in a Ted Baker purse.
The purses retail for £75.00 which is expensive but that's what you get with designers I suppose! They are sold at Ted Baker stores, online on their website and I have also spotted them being sold in House of Fraser stores. If you search around, you will be able to pick up some of their old designs for at a much cheaper price if you are not willing to pay the large sum.
The purse I own is very much like the one in the image. It is shiny black all over, and is similar to a mini clutch. It lifts open at the front to reveal a generous sized purse. You then undo the clasp at the top to reveal the compartments for cash and notes. I feel that you get quite a considerable amount of room to store all kinds of bits and bobs. I tend to hang on to things like tickets and receipts so my purse can get very full - and this meets this requirement. If you are a minimalist then this is not the purse for you!
One thing which I was really impressed with by this purse is the amount of slots to keep your cards in. With previous purses that I've owned, I had to start putting more than one card into each slot and it just wasn't practical. I have debit cards, store gift cards, food chain cards as well as things like my Boots Advantage card. It provides generous room to store all of your cards in, so I have found this really useful. There is also room inside if you want to keep a little photo in there which is a nice touch.
Another handy compartment is located on the very back of the purse. This may be handy for popping in some coins if you need to get to them quickly. I don't make much use out of this compartment but I am sure that others would.
Ted Baker tend to change their designs regularly as the seasons go by. The most current style available comes with a little gold bow clasp at the time. Mine was the style that was released just before this, so it contains two little silver jewels which are absolutely stunning. Even though the external purse looks the same, you can normally distinguish the different styles by the clasp at the top. When you open up my purse, it also has a lovely dog pattern inside. It is coated with little French Bulldogs which is my favourite breed of dog, therefore I was completely sold. I have noticed that the pattern has changed since then.
Fabric Content: Shell: 100% Bovine Leather; Inner: 100% Ovine Leather; Lining: 100% Polyester
I have now owned this purse for around 2-3 months. I am really impressed with how sturdy it is. I get many compliments as to how nice it is, despite being just a simple black purse. It really does have the wow factor! I have found it a really practical purse and great for daily use. It is however a little large to use on nights out but that's not a problem for me really. I can not fault this purse in any way other than the price - but it really does offer good value for money.
If you are interested, Ted Baker offer a wide range of shades in their purses. I opted for black but they do normally have pinks and pastel shades.
I do really recommend this purse either as a treat to yourself or to give to somebody else as a gift. I am so pleased with this, and I don't think I could ever go back to my old Primark purses now! Great product from Ted - Thanks for reading and hope it helps.
I treated myself to this Crystal Bobble Kassady purse after seeming to replace my purses every six months or so and thought I would see if an expensive one would last longer. Although I would buy leather purses I would usually get them from the market or cheaper shops and either the zip would go, or the clasp would become loose or they just looked tatty and worn. The recommended retail price for this purse is a very steep £75 however I didn't pay that as I couldn't justify spending that much money on a purse. I actually paid £40 which is still expensive but I thought I would see what a difference a good quality designer purse was in terms of how long it lasted and how it would wear. I picked this up from a trip to Liverpool from a posh shoe and bag shop however I can't remember what it was called, it wasn't a chain and I know I didn't recognise the name of the shop.
They had these purses in black and a light pink colour but I chose black as I thought the pink may show marks a bit more. It measures 19cm x 10cm x 3cm (or 7" x 4" x 1") which is the size purse I always have to fit in all my cards and bits and pieces. They also do a similar purse in a slightly smaller size but this is not much cheaper than the larger one, however if you only have a small handbag you may prefer this one. I have seen the smaller one new on Ebay for £25 so it is worth shopping round for a bargain, also John Lewis who also sell these do have good discount offers on from time to time.
It is made of 100% bovine leather with a 100% patterned polyester lining. The outside has a shiny look and feel but you can definitely tell that it is a quality item and it doesn't look cheap at all. It could easily be wiped over with a damp cloth or wipe if needed but as mine is black unless I actually spilt something on it I don't really think I will need to do this. It has the words Ted Baker on the front however these are embossed into the black so they don't spoil the look of the purse in any way.
It has a flap which folds over the decorative bobble clasps which has the letters T and B in a faceted crystal design which I think is what makes the purse look so expensive. The crystals are encased in gold metal as is the frame of the purse and click shut firmly but easily. I have never had any incidents when it has come open however the flap does fold over the clasps for extra security. When you open the purse you will find two deep sections for your coins and on the back of the flap part there is a clear plastic section where you could keep an ID card or bus pass or anything which you need to get quick access to. There are also eight separate slots for cards which I have actually filled up, not all credit cards I hasten to add, but I have so many loyalty and points cards which I always have with me. There is a zip at the back of the purse with a zip pull where I tend to keep any coupons or vouchers and which is quite useful as you don't have to open the actual purse to get to these.
I have used this purse daily now for well over twelve months and can say that it doesn't look any different to when I first bought it. The only time I would say I don't use it is if I am going out somewhere posh and I use a smaller evening handbag. As I don't own many designer items I do love this purse and am always proud to to use it and show it off. The stitching is still completely intact and it has not worn or become dog eared in any way as my previous purses would be looking after this time. I would definitely recommend this purse especially if you can pick one up cheaper than the £75 price tag as it is a good quality well made purse which is a pleasure to use.
I have the small version of this purse in a gorgeous light aqua on the outside with a lime colour for the inner purse. The lining is truly Ted Baker style and sophistication with black and white elegant butterflies, however I expected it to be made of silk (not polyester) as the quality of the leather is so beautiful. This product is almost like two purses in one, the first is for your coins, but be it is small so you don't want to fill it with too many coins or you will struggle to close the purse. The second section holds your cards, but being so small it doesn't hold many and there is also no clear window if you for your drivers license. You should also be wary of coins falling from the coin section when your getting your cars, as pretty as the crystals are at top they make a rubbish claps. Probably the most useful part of this purse is the zip pocket at the bag which is super useful for train and bus tickets, although it's a bit of a tight squeeze. I'm in two minds about this purse, on the one hand it's so beautiful and I get a lot of compliments for it, however it's a little bit too impractical.
A couple of years ago I had a complete overhaul of my bag and purse collection, which was mainly due to the fact I had way too many bags and most of them were either looking a bit worn or were ones that I no longer used. When doing this I decided to invest in a few more expensive pieces, not necessarily worth hundreds, but just a little more than the high street brands I was previously buying. One of these items was the Ted Baker purse, now these come in a few different sizes, though I opted for the 'Kassady' purse (which I am pretty sure is the one pictured above) in a bright, yet not neon pink colour. This purse was one of the larger sizes as I like that it had lots of compartments and the flap open style, yet was not the largest. The largest to me looked a little more like a clutch bag opposed to a purse due to the size of it.
===~~Price and Availability~~===
This purse is priced at £75, which may sound a little expensive considering the fact that although Ted Baker may be classed as a 'premium' brand it is also not the best on the market and there may be better manufactured purses on the market. Nonetheless now having owned this purse for close to two and a half years, which is the longest I have ever owned a purse as often I become bored and like to change them up, I thoroughly believe it is worth this price. This is of course for the larger sized purse and there are other sizes available for a little cheaper and the small size is available for £65; though personally I believe it is worth paying the extra £10 for the larger size as I believe it to be more beneficial to the extra space and card slots.
These are available in different colours, though currently on the website I can only see two. Though I tend to find there is often more selection in store. The purses tend to be one colour on the outside and then a contrasting colour on the inside. As mentioned mine is a bright pink on the outside and a orange colour on the inside. I cannot see this one of the website at the moment (and mine is slightly different to the current Kassady due to the time of purchase) however they tend to bring out more colour choices and brighter colours during the summer. It comes presented in a lovely green 'postcard' style box, wrapped in tissue paper which also makes it a lovely gift and the fact that it comes presented in a box really gives it that luxury item look.
Due to it being a Ted Baker product I do tend to find it is fairly widely available. It is of course available in Ted Baker stores (and their online store) and is also available from larger department stores such as that of House of Fraser, John Lewis and others. ASOS also stock certain Ted Baker items too and you can sometimes pick up Ted Baker items for a little discount on eBay.
The purse itself (the £75 priced one) is 19cm x 10 cm x 3cm. I personally really like the size of the purse, it is considerably bigger than purses I have used in the past, especially that of coin purses. This makes it extremely easy to find in my bag and I do not find myself digging around for it, nonetheless it is a little too big for some of my smaller bags. I don't really mind this as I tend to only carry small bags when going to concerts or on a night out and then I can simply zip some money in a side pocket and I don't really like the idea of carrying my purse with me with all my cards in it then just in case I misplace it. The main and inner of the purse are 100% leather, whilst the lining is 100% polyester. The fact that it is leather makes it feel much more of a luxury item to hold and makes it look a little more expensive and that of a luxury item. I have personally found the leather to be of very high quality and therefore has been very hard wearing and despite the fact I often just throw this purse in my bag and have dropped it numerous times as of yet it is not showing any signs of wear. Despite the outer being made of leather it does have a plastic/patent like finish to it. Although this sounds like it may be a little cheaper looking, I actually really like the look. It is a bit different to the crocodile/ worn like leather and gives the purse a really smooth look. Due to this it also incredibly easy to wipe down if it ever gets a bit dirty or grubby looking.
The lining of this purse is also incredibly pretty. It has a silky like feeling to it and is a mixture of dark and light greys. Although this may sound like it will contras with the bright pink and orange colour of my purse it somehow works and adds a little bit of 'class' to the bright pink colour. The print on the lining is big, bold roses which adds a certain elegance to the purse and is what really reminds me of the pretty Ted Baker prints. I love the bright pop of pink colour this purse has to it and really does make it look really eye-catching. The fact that it is also not a neon pink makes it a little more subtle, though is definitely not a subtle purse. The purse has a flap over design, which I really like as it fastens with a simple singular popper which means it is very easy to access. I particularly like the fact that it does not have a zip all the way round as some of the larger purses do and personally find this way of accessing the purse much quicker. Despite it being a single popper I find it to be very strong and sturdy and have never had any problems with it undoing. When opened you are met with eight slots along the top of the purse for cards. I find the cards to slide in and out of these very easily, yet at the same time are very secure in there and again have never had any problems with any of them sliding out. However I would strongly recommend not putting a card in the first 'clear' card stock as I have made this mistake and it is near impossible to remove. Therefore this slot is bet for use of a photo or something similar. There is also a pocket like feature in the top of the purse underneath where you store the cards. This is lined with the lovely floral print and I find this pocket really useful for storing shopping lists or 'to do' lists as then I know they are always with me and know exactly where they are.
In the bottom half of the purse there is two large slots for notes/ vouchers or more lists. Notes fit easily length ways in this compartment. The compartments open up fairly widely so that you can see what you have in these pockets, but not too much so you feel that your purse/ money in your purse is exposed. I also like the fact that you have two of these pockets as it means it you need to separate money or if you need to give somebody money it is easy to store the money in the two separate compartments to avoid confusion. You are then met with the bobble clasp for the coin compartment. The bobble clasp is perhaps my favourite thing about this purse, I think this may be due to the fact that many purses do not have this nowadays. The current Kassady has crystals in the bobble clasp, however mine has round orange enamel pieces with the letters T and B on them. There is currently another purse with this enamel clasp, however they are rectangular in shape and not the same bobble clasp. This clasp I again find to be very secure and it has never accidently opened. Though I do find sometimes I forget to close it and just secure the main part of the purse and I do find that when I do this any coins I do have still manage to fall out, so it is very important to ensure you close the clasp. There are again two compartments in this section, though I do find that most of the money gets muddled in these compartments anyway. I tend to find that you can store a fair few coins in this compartment, though fewer than other purses I have used in the past as it does become difficult to do up the clasp when too full.
There is then another four card slots, which is great for me as I seem to have a card for everything, luckily most of them are only loyalty cards though! Again the cards are secure in here yet very easy to get in and out as needed. Finally there is a zip on the back, when I first got this purse the zip was very hard to undo and zip back up, yet over time it has become much easier to do. I tend to not use this section of the purse too often as I find there is enough storage in the rest of the purse for me, nonetheless I find it a nice design feature.
Overall I am bother very pleased and impressed with my purchase. I think the quality of the item is fantastic and as of yet, despite the fact I have owned it for near enough two and a half years, it is showing very little, if any signs of wear. It has also maintained its bright pink colour and has not become dull over time, the fact that the outer is a wipe down material helps this and does make it extremely easy to maintain. The only thing I do find that wears on this purse is the stitching running around the purse. The stitching is the same colour as the purse, meaning that it is not too noticeable however overtime I have found that the colour of the stitching has stained a little and become a little darker. This can be cleaned up, though requires a little more time and effort than that of cleaning the main of the purse.
I really love this purse and think the £75 price tag of this purse is extremely well justified, since purchasing mine a few of my friends have even purchased them in different colours. The only thing about this purse is that Ted Baker are constantly updating it and bringing out different versions meaning that it doesn't stay 'new' for long, this doesn't bother me though for those who like to stay more up to date this could cause an issue. I am awarding this purse five stars as I believe it thoroughly deserves them and should it become very tatty, grubby or just in the need of up dating I would not hesitate about purchasing another one.
I have the small Ted baker purse in black leather, with Ted Baker branded lettering to the front, and the letters 'T' and 'B' on the gold bobble clips for the purse section. I love this purse!! It leaves plenty of room in whichever bag I'm using, while enabling me to carry all my main debit and credit cards, store cards, stamp cards etc. It has various different sections to keep organised. the only drawback is that the coin section can struggle to close if there are too many coins in there, however I hate carrying a lot of coins anyway.
Inside the note section it says in small black letters "Ted says - The more you give the more you get" which I think is a really nice touch and it always makes me smile when I see it.
I've had this purse now for about two years and it's still in perfect condition! I'm not exactly careful with it either - it just gets bunged in my bag with keys etc. I've had a few compliments on it, mainly from shop assistants when I'm paying for something.
I got mine from the Cheshire Oaks outlet near Chester and I think it was about £35, which is quite a big reduction from RRP in Ted Baker shops and other places like House of Fraser, John Lewis etc. It's definitely worth shopping around, but I'd still be pleased with this purse even if I had paid full price!
They also come in a wide range of colours and a shiny PVC style. I was very tempted to get the bright red shiny purse, but settled on the black leather as it's classic and I thought that I would always love it!
My boyfriend bought my purple Ted Baker purse in October and since then it's been permanently attached to my side! It may be a very costly purchase at first, but I can honestly say nearly a year on and I haven't a complaint about the quality whatsoever.
However, the coin part has a tendancy to open inside my bag, causing pennies to roam my bag, getting in the most awkward compartments. That is my only real negative for the purse, it's functional and looks great.
Mine is the larger sized one, so I also use it as a clutch sometimes, which looks really good on a night out.
The purse, like all things Ted Baker, comes at a price though and in less than a year, the same purse I have is being sold at £5 more. It is exactly what you want it for, it's a practical purse and a status symbol.
I am reviewing the Ted Baked Rocksy Purse. It is similar in design to the purse in the DooYoo picture above however it is shorter in length, and the bobbles on top are heart shaped instead of round.
I bought this purse as a treat for myself about a year ago. I chose a lovely baby pink shade with cream coloured bobbles which are outlined in gold and have the TB initials in gold. The purse has a patent finish which when new, is lovely and shiny.
This purse cost £59 which seemed extravagant at the time but I hoped it would be a purse I would keep for a couple of years and so would get my money's worth. I bought my purse from ASOS.com but it can also be ought in department stores such as House of Fraser or John Lewis, from Ted Baker stores or from various other online retailers.
The size of the purse that I am reviewing is as follows:
The purse has 6 card slots, a coins section and a notes section. I personally find there is not enough card slots to hold all of my cards and have ended up stuffing 2 or more cards into each slot, which I feel stretches them a little. Due to the size of the purse, notes need to be folded up to fit inside. This is something else I don't like as I prefer my notes to fit in without folding. There is plenty of room to store coins.
Inside the purse the material is grey with a floral print. This is a nice contrast to the pink patent and can only be seen when you open the purse.
Since I bought this purse I have been using it every day. Initially the purse wore well, but after about 6 months the purse started to show signs of wear that I was unhappy with. The stitching on the outside of the purse became stained and dirty in appearance and the patent was easily marked. The gold around the bobbles started to scrape off. I also found that the purse did not stay securely closed, and even when not overly full I would often find the purse open in my handbag with coins spilt everywhere.
Now I am realistic and know that with daily use, not many purses all last forever. However I did expect this purse to last longer than it did, and after only a year I am on the lookout for a new one!
This is a lovely designer purse and would make a gorgeous gift, but only for those who can afford to regurlarly replace it. Alternatively it could be saved for special occasions and would last longer if not used every day.
The inside of this purse has printed in the leather a little motto from Ted: "Ted says, the more you give, the more you get" and on this occasion I would have to disagree. For such a hefty price tag, I would have expected a more durable purse.
MAGGYE - Bow bobble matinee - £70
I have what I think is the purse above in red. (Sorry the picture is rather fuzzy). The back of the purse shown has a change section, with a strip of leather attached to the zip for ease of use. The side of the purse not shown has on it a flap embossed with Ted Baker in italics, that underneath covers has a section where you can store your cards, there are seven normal sections for cards, in a tiered effect with an 8th section having a see through cover so you can store a photo.
Poking through the flap there are two flattened balls that clip together to close the larger section of the purse inside. These are what first attracted me to the purse as they have bows decorating the top of them surrounded by cream enamel. Each of these two round shapes has Ted baker embossed on the edge of them.
When you lift the flap, these two balls can be pushed apart to reveal a beautiful lining with dogs all over it. The fabric is black with these dogs in white, and they have little bones in their mouths that are red to match the purse.
The main body of the purse is leather, and it is lined with polyester. The section inside that opens is a nice substantial size. Approximate Dimensions of the purse are 19cm wide, 10cm high, and 3cm deep.
I've had my purse for a while now, and there are a few scuffs on the leather but nothing that looks too bad, and I do tend to abuse my purses, so I don't view it as an issue.
For me the purse is a great size to have all of your cards, and bits in, as there is no need to leave anything out of it, (when I go out I like a change purse, to ensure I don't loose my cards).
I would definitely recommend this product to a friend, as it really is a great investment. Mine was a gift, but I have since bought one for my sister as a birthday gift. They really are a great purse, as they are such a great size.
I have became a huge fan of a lot of accessories by Ted Baker lately, and it all started when I saw a range of purses by Ted Baker that I immediately fell in love with and wanted in every single colour. The purse I own is the same shape as the one in the image but in a different colour. The image above really does not do this purse justice and so if you search for a Ted Baker purse online you will see what they are actually like and the range of different colours available.
The purse I own is cream on the outside and like a coral, light orange colour on the inside. As there are so many colours available and also every season they bring a new style out where the clasps and colours are different, it took me a while to decide on which one to buy, and I wasn't willing to buy any due to the price of them! The one I own and the one on which I am writing a review on is priced at £69 and is still available from some retailers such as ASOS.com, eBay and Amazon. As new styles are out now though this exact one is no longer available from Ted Baker online and I haven't seem them recently in department stores such as Debenhams and House of Fraser, which is where I originally came across them. However the new styles that are available are very similar to mine except from the clasp and so I imagine the quality will be just the same as the one I own.
This purse is also available in a slightly smaller size for £59, but I really wanted the larger one so it would be more noticeable when carrying it around!
As there are so many different colours to choose from I won't list them all here, but if you ever walk past the Ted Baker section in a department store I can guarantee the display of purses will catch your eye as they do stand out, or alternatively you can just search online to see all the colours.
I will now explain the detailing of the purse as it can't be seen in the image above. To open the purse you need to pull the flap apart which is attached with a very secure button. I have had plenty of purses where zips or buttons have eventually just broken meaning i could never shut my purse properly, but thankfully this one has yet to let me down and I think it will last me a very long time yet. Once opened there is a section on the inside of the flap for 8 cards to be stored, one of these can be a photo too as the bottom part is see-through. I have actually left the card in mine that states 'Ted Baker London' though. On the other side of the purse it pulls out where notes and things like vouchers or receipts can be stored. You then have the part which is closed by the clasp and where I keep my coins. This part is very secure and doesn't open easily so no coins ever fall out. I have had plenty of purses in the past where I have gone to get money out and instead it is all at the bottom of my bag instead as it fell out! On the side of this part there is also another part to store 4 more cards, and this is where I keep my cards that I tend to use the most as I think they are easier to get to. Lastly, there is a zip on the outside of the purse where I
Just above some stitching on the inside of this purse on the coral coloured part of the material, which is leather (mustn't forget to mention that!) "Ted says, the more you give you get." is imprinted into it. I really like this little bit to it and I have noticed that a lot of the Ted Baker products have little mottos printed inside them somewhere.
A lot of Ted Baker products, including all of the purses have a soft material inside them which is grey with butterflies on it, this is on the parts of the purse that fold out and so cannot be seen unless you open the purse, and also on the inside of the zip part, but I do love it and I like that different materials are used and it isn't all just the same colour etc on the inside.
As I previously mentioned their are a few different clasps that you can choose from on these purses as they do keep changing. The clasp on mine is in the shape of two hearts that you pull apart from each other and one has 'T' on and the other 'B' on it. The clasp has a gold outline and the letters are in gold, the inside of the hearts are the same coral colour as the inside of the purse. These will differ depending on the colour of the purse and so there is likely to be a colour for everyone.
Overall I love this purse and have owned it for almost 3 months now. I almost ruined it after 2 weeks of purchasing it when I took it to a concert in my bag and it was raining all night which ran through my bag and made dye run on the outside of my purse. As the outside is a patent material it luckily came off after scrubbing it for ages, but I will never make that mistake again! As the purse is cream the dark dye was very noticeable on it and I thought it would be ruined, but even after scrubbing it away it hasn't affected the material and you can't even tell anymore.
I recommend this purse to anyone who likes a large purse with lots of different compartments for storing cards and money, but alternatively there is a smaller one available that also has a lot of compartments. There is bound to be a colour for everyone, which is a problem for me as I now want this in more colours! It is quite expensive for £69 which I have never paid for a purse before, I managed to get 10% off mine when House of Fraser had a promotion on so it was slightly cheaper, but I do think it would make a great gift for somebody, especially those who love Ted Baker like I do. It also comes in a Ted Baker gift box.
To me a good purse is vital. I don't like the small coin purses I like a large purse as I like to get all my cards in as well as receipts, cash (should I be lucky to actually keep it in my purse for more than 24 hours!). I just like plenty of room in a purse to carry everything. At Christmas my other half and I were browsing in John Lewis in Newcastle when I found my way over to the Ted Baker range of bags and purses and found myself liking them all. Not thinking my other half was taking my hints the thought of opening a beautiful Ted Baker presentation box at Christmas had become non-existent!
To my sheer surprise my dear other half had actually been listening to me and on Christmas Day I was presented with a very carefully wrapped gift box and in side they lay the Ted Baker Anitah Bobble Purse in black patent. I was thrilled! Ted Baker do a wide range of purses which all do look very similar so I don't know if the 'Anitah' purse comes in any other colour but I was incredibly pleased with black patent being a very practical choice. Ted Baker purses start from around £80 depending on the style which is quite expensive just for a purse.
My Anitah purse is like I said black patent which is gorgeous but on the inside when you open it up it has a very gorgeous metallic gold lining which obviously contrasts nicely with the black. On the inside of the purse on the one side there is room for around 7 cards as well as a slot with a clear window for pictures or your driving licence for example. And on the other side there is space for 4 cards. For me this is ample room for my debit cards, credit card as well as all the store cards such as my Nectar card to sit. I find that they also come out easily instead of once in that's where they stay! On the outside of the purse there is just a simple zip pocket at the back which is ideal for spare cards, more change or anything specific such as certain receipts.
The Anitah purse is classed as a bobble purse simply because it has the two bobble clasps which are circular in shape. They are gold in colour, one has a cream top with a 'B' on and the black has a 'T' on in gold script font which is quite a luxurious touch. The bobble clasp is the fastening which keeps the middle pouch shut which is wear you keep your coins. On the other side of this pocket/pouch is where you can keep your receipts/vouchers etc. Personally I would have preferred another pouch on the other side of the coin pouch simply because I like a lot of room and tend not to empty my purse in a regular basis!
Not only does this purse feature a lovely gold lining on the inside of the pockets (or pouches I suppose) is a lovely black and white rose printed fabric which is gorgeous and really makes the purse look a bit more unique. The same fabric can also be seen under the clear panel on the one side of the purse. Personally as much as I love the gold contrasting with the black patent I would have probably preferred the whole purse was lined with the rose printed fabric but that is just my personal opinion.
The purse is made from 100% leather and you can tell instantly that it is a quality leather purse there is no mistaking it is well constructed but I am still a little uncertain as to how it warrants such a high price tag! The purse is 19cm x 10cm x 3cm which for me is definitely a good size as I can fit everything I need to in it but as I said above I would like a little more room for receipts but by having less room I am keeping my purse tidier!
My purse is now nearly 9 months old and it is still going strong. However, as much as I like the patent finish to it, it can get marked and scratched easily and once this happens it can start to look a little tatty which is a real shame. Although my purse still has a lovely gloss shine to it, it does have a few little marks on it which I'm not happy about and for this reason I have stopped using it on a daily basis as I don't want it any more scratched or mark than it has to be and for such an expensive purse to just sit and do nothing it isn't the best!
However, despite my little gripes about it which is completely personal to me and my own little imperfections but I do really love this purse. I really like the bobble fastening and the fact that it was used every day for probably 7 months out of the 9 months and apart from the few minor marks the purse is still in great condition. The leather hasn't stretched, it is still incredibly soft and looks nearly as good as new! If wanting to spend a decent amount of money on a purse then the Ted Baker selection should definitely be worth a look at but definitely a luxury rather than a necessity and because of this I can only give the Ted Baker Purse 4 stars.
