HP iPaq 214:
... HP iPAQ 214 Enterprise Handheld is an advanced piece of kit which you can comfortably take with you anywhere you go, almost like a mini laptop! It actually runs on a 624MHz processor, I remember my first ever PC which was 133MHz, that really does put things in perspective. The design is very sophisticated with a nice 4 inch TFT touch screen display which is an improvement from HP s previous iPAQ s. It has many I... HP iPaq Pocket PC Hx2490b ... brought this product as a refurbished, off ebay, for £180. It isn t the thinest of devices, or the lightest, but it will do. The screen is big enough, and it has all the right features, WLAN, Bluetooth etc. There are a few glitches in it though. After a month or so of having it, the touch screen messed up, part of the screen just would not function. So I phoned up HP, and they gave the Collect and Return system, which is useful, as it meant I didn t have to post it myself! It was sent off to hungary, took a while to get it fixed because "the part wasn t in stock", so, after about 6 weeks, I got it back, and wah hey, it s working again. So, any other problems? ... HP iPaq Pocket PC Hx4700 ... The HP iPAQ HX4700 is a PDA (Personal Digital Assistant). In other words, it s a handheld computer. I had previously owned a HP iPAQ H5550 PDA, so stuck with the HP brand rather than go for a brand like Dell. Asus and many other companies also make PDAs and build quality varies but you can t go wrong with HP on build quality. Another option would have been to go for a PDA running the PALM ope... But now I m back doing a bit of work again (following babies), I need something to keep in touch with the business world on the go, and my company must have an HP contract, cos they won t give me a blackberry. Sob. Actually wanted an iphone too, but still... So they gave me one of these babies. The iPAQ 614c And guess what? HP iPAQ have made it into the 21st century! This is great! Throw away your iphones (well, OK, sell them on ebay then). I m in lurrrve. So what s so cool? Well finally iPAQ have woken up to the fact that you want a ...
