Advantages: Looks good
Disadvantages: Stops working intermittently and loses all input data and programs
Unreliable and slow...
I bought this to run medical reference and medication prescribing software for my practice as a doctor at a local hospital.
Initially I was impressed by the way the pocket PC allowed bedside access to full medical texts and information but I soon discovered that the machine itself was desperately unreliable, reseting itself and losing information without warning.
The shop where I bought it was sympathetic but unable to reproduce the, admittedly intermittent, fault. Which basically meant I was stuck with the machine.
It is now a very expensive paperweight and I cannot possible recommend this make of machine to anyone - my colleagues use Dell pocket PCs and have not had any reliability issues.
I've never had problems with other Acer products but even a cursory glance at online reviews shows how many people have.
P*ss poor, half *ssed joke of a pocket PC.
Save your money and buy something that's better made..
