Like many other readers I was not convinced by this whole "ebook" thing! My argument/defence was that it's nice to have a book and leaf through the pages, especially if it's a "page-turner". I didn't think this would apply if I read the same book on a kindle or other such device, by just clicking a button. I was wrong. My cousin had sold the idea to me as she recently bought a Kindle and, like me, she LOVES books, so I was surprised that she had given in. I have to say it's probably one of the best things I've ever bought! I take it everywhere with me!

With the Wi-Fi access, if you finish a book, for instance, that is part of a trilogy and it's late at night and you can't wait to read the next one, you can just log onto the Kindle store and purchase the next one, subject to availability of course. Books take about 10 seconds to download, even if your Wi-Fi is slow (mine is ridiculous) and there is a fantastic selection.

Top tips: Always check out the daily deal - you never know what you're going to get! Also if your finances are looking low, you can always search for free books. I've done this and found a few gems! You can a lot of books for less than £1! How can you argue with that!?
