Advantages: Easy to use, books cheaper
Disadvantages: None come to mind
My mother brought me this for Christmas after complaining for months that I no longer read loads like I did when I was younger. Admittedly I ungratefully pushed it aside after quick hugs and thanks and didn't think much of it. I was going through the phase when TV beat books any day. Though after a few weeks of heavy drinking and eating through Christmas time I decided to chill it down a bit and pulled it from under my bed and started to play around with it.
I began going through the kindle store after the quick sign up and sign in it makes you do at the beginning which was simple enough. I purchased a few cheap 99p books and flicked or clicked my way threw them and before I knew it, I had well over 50 books purchased. I'm not at the point where I dislike leaving my kindle at home. It has replaced my ipod on long journeys and laze arounds and often choose to read rather than watch the telly. It showed me just how much Id missed getting stuck into a good book and because its through the kindle, the books are considerably more cheap.
Though I have never done this myself, I was told by my kindle addict friends that there are 99p deal a day pages of books that you can buy which is always good to help introduce a new genre or author without wasting a few quid. I'm much more of a research and buy whatever the price but still isremarkably cheap.
The battery is very efficient. I rarely have tot charge it up regardless of the fact I spend so much time reading. It comes with a wire to be inserted in the laptop, xbox or any other usb ports though a mains charger can also be purchased.
I would definitely recommend this kindle to any book lovers or anyone who needs more motivation to get stuck into reading.
