After being very sceptical about literature moving into a digital age I finally thought it was time to get myself a Kindle Touch, and I am glad I did. Bought one at the start of the Summer and in two months I have read 13 books. There is just something of a real satisfaction when I finish a book on my Kindle.

The touch screen is great and I have never had a problem with it n regards to what I have selected and what the Kindle has thought I had selected. Turning pages, selecting words / phrases and navigating web pages all work perfectly.

The battery life is great and in the two months I have had it I have only needed to charge it once, and I don't think I wouldn't have needed to that soon if I didn't have it constantly connected to the wireless in my house (and didn't spend every waking minute reading). Unfortunetly it does not come with a mains adapter rather a USB lead, but I was able to use a USB mains adapter that I already had for my IPod to charge it, or even more handy was that my Blackberry charger also was able to charge it.

Very compact and lightweight and I am easily able to walk around with it in my pocket even with the denim cover that I bought for it on.

Books are downloaded very quickly, and using the online store it has become very easy for me to search and buy books with ease. There is also a great range of FREE books available for download, if getting a cheaper than paper book wasn't already much of an incentive.

Unfortunately there is no backing light for it, but there is nothing better than sitting late at night with a lamp on reading a book so that isn't even a complaint for me.
