I have now had the iPad 2 for around a month now and I absolutely love it - it is a very good device.

The Battery life is very good - I can easily get around 10 hours of usage in one charge, as Apple says as well. Normally the battery life advertised is much less than you actually get, but with the iPad it stays true (as long as you do not open lots of power hungry apps at once etc).

I was thinking of buying the Kindle for reading but there is no need for one now as the iPad does a much better job! The iPad does not have the paper like screen of the Kindle, but no matter! Also, it is so easy to just download some books from the iTunes store on the go.

It is also very useful for finding information, games, Internet access and other utilities too. It definitely trumps my old Windows laptop at home!

Also, even though this iPad is the base model, it is still so fast, and it makes my very slow internet connection seem amazing! The whole family is just addicted to it, especially the kids!

Overall I love the iPad and would highly recommend it!
