I have had the Ipad Air 2 now for around 4 months and up to now enjoyed it. I have had other tablets in the past and we also own a samsung version which is slightly smaller. This tablet is stylish, the screen is big enough for people with bad vision and the zoom option helps even more. There are plenty of apps to download which is great especially if you like your mini games. Obviously being an apple product you do have to buy quite a few of the apps if you want to but not needed. I use my tablet mainly for facebook and games, browsing the web, online shopping and you tube and this tablet suits me for what i need it for. Outside the home the tablet is great with the sim for the internet and i like how it is just like a larger version of the Iphone that i also purchased. The screen is nice and bright, the touch screen is very good and it even has siri which is great to find products and services on the internet. I have even used the tablet as a sat nav in the car when my battery died on my phone which was a great app and the volume was load enough to hear. My only problem is i wish id bought a larger gig as 16gb sounds a lot but after apps, pictures and videos i keep having to review what i have and what i need to keep. The video and picture quality is great to say its a tablet. All in all i highly recommend this product and even though the cable is slightly short that is my only quibble
The Apple name needs no introduction really. This is an exceptionally we'll designed product, it looks absolutely stunning. The device is amazingly thin and light and has a very premium feel with a smoothed aluminium back.
It is using the A7 processor chip (64 bit) and is dual core which means that it also has exceptional performance internally. Everything you do on the device seems to be processed instantly. The iOS operating system is very ease and pleasant to use. Lots of free apps come with it too which is great out of the box. The camera is decent but some more advanced features are lacking. Sound quality from the device is great too, it doesn't sound tinny.
The battery life is great and i feel improved on previous IPADs. I can go days without having to charge it. The device works well with the ICloud storage system provided by apple.
However 16GB is no way near enough if you are going to use the device for storing videos, music and a large number of apps. This is a major downer considering that the internal memory is not expandable like on other android tablets. You should think about getting larger memory device if you are going to store a lot on it. Furthermore there is no TouchID feature like on other Apple devices for enhanced security.
Price is another concern, Apples device's are very expensive in general and that is something to bear in mind, considering that there are other great performing android tablets out there now.
