I have been using The Apple Ipad mini with retina display, wifi and cellular model for 8 months now, and I use it as a replacement to my laptop that I use in school. With full free access to apple's IWork and iLife apps it truly makes this device a useful replacement to anyone who priorities mobility over certain functions of laptops. The screen resolution is a huge bump up from the original ipad mini, and together with the improved performance by the A7 chip and 64-but encryption, the performance is spectacular especially when it comes to movie editing and gameplay. The aluminum exterior of the ipad mini, as always gives it a premium feel. I use my ipad mini to take photos and it's camera takes photos very well, and the resolution is good, especially considering it's a 5 Megapixel camera. Battery life is absolutely amazing, as expected with any Ipad. On moderate, typical use, it can last be up to two days on a single charge, and on days with much heavy usage with hours of video playback, it lasts me an entire day. The one downside for me would definitely be the colour production in this case. The colors of the screen are not as vibrant or saturated as that on samsung devices, but it is only very noticeable to people who have used those devices before. Otherwise, I would recommend this device to anyone who wants a reliable and functional tablet that is sure to last.
