After recently getting the Blackberry Bold I thought I'd share my thoughts about it. Traditionally a Blackberry is known for being solely aimed at the business market with one of its main selling points being the fact that you have constant email access which is of course very important for some people. They were not aimed at the consumer market in terms of looks or capabilities. However, the Blackberry Bold (BB) aims to change that. With the recent trend on mobile phones being to include internet access, suddenly the Blackberry isn't so businessey and may have some appeal to the consumer market. The BB has been very much designed not only for ... Read the complete review

The commencement of a new job saw me presented with a brick like XDA device which truth be told was useless. E-mails had to be typed using a stylus which frankly took hours to write and every time the battery died it had to be sent back to IT while they rebuilt it from scratch after it managed to wipe every last trace of my documents and e-mails. After much sighing in front of my boss and several important e-mails going unreturned late at night and at the weekend she finally gave in and with much glee presented me with a BlackBerry 7100v, a model I had previously used, a model which to put bluntly was close to obsolete by the time my sweaty paws had gotten to grips with ... I got this Blackberry Bold 9000 as a Contracted phone with 3 Mobile in July and I must admit, it really is worth the good reviews it gets. I'm not technically minded, therefore my review won't have any of the "really important" info that some might seek, but a right Girly view on things instead. I was slightly worried by the large size of the handset, (4" in height and 2" in width) but this only adds to the charm of the phone. It's not too big for even the smallest of handbags (or so I've found so far) and not too bulky for your jacket pocket. In fact everyone comments on how much it looks like a little laptop! The buttons are ... Read the complete review

Okay so I admit it im a netaholic. I love the internet and feel totally disconnected without it so I knew that my next phone even though I'm not a business person would be a blackberry. As I am on Three I had little choice which in Blackberry- in fact the Bold was the only choice but after reading numerous reviews I felt that was probably the best option anyway as I don't like touch touchscreen phones so the storm would annoy me and the curve has ever so slightly slower internet. So the phone! Well visually it does look great. Both business like but also attractive with nice curves and a glossy very good quality screen. My husband also agrees that ... Read the complete review

I absolutely LOVE this phone! I had been looking around for a while for a handset which enabled me to read emails, use the internet and send text messages. Having utilised Sony Ericcson prior to this and had the top of the range camera phones, I decided that in order to further myself with work I would be better to go for a lower specification camera (this is 2.0 Megapixel although the quality of the photos is brilliant) and a handset which offered more 'work type' applications. I was able to upgrade the handset free of charge with O2 and this arrived 2 days after I had ordered it - Very impressive! The handset is really easy to use, once I ... Read the complete review
