Having registered my email accounts to the phone i was buoyed with excitement to receive my first email even it it was a advert to increase the size of my manhood. unfortunately more spam was to follow and i ended up deactivating the email settings. I was further disappointed with the internet functions expecting a scaled down Internet explorer instead ending up with a cumbersome interface. It was at this point i questioned why i signed up for a blackberry in the first place, was it some vein hope that this wa...more

Crowned Review Blackberry Curve 8900: Curvacious, Cunning and Cool (1309 words)
by - written on 29/10/09 (Very useful, 159 readings)
Rating:

The Blackberry Curve 8900 is available on a number of networks, both on consumer and business tariffs. For a reasonable monthly tariff (£25 upwards) the handset should be free on an eighteen-month contract. I've had a few Blackberry handsets now and having got used to each one for either 12 or 18 months, the enormous improvements in the handsets have impressed me every time. My most recent upgrade has been to the Curve 8900, which is, without a doubt, the best Blackberry that I've had to date and, probably, the best mobile phone I've had, full stop. The handset looks great; a stylish combination of silver and black that's fairly subtle and stays the ...  Read the complete review

Having finally switched allegiance from Sony Ericson, i opted to embark on my first relationship with Blackberry and with PDA's in general. Although i had my heart set on the I-phone 02 laid down a contract for a blackberry i could not refuse. After initially getting to grips with the scaled down keyboard(not for the fat handed individual) i set about exploring the features of the curve. Having registered my email accounts to the phone i was buoyed with excitement to receive my first email even it it was a advert to increase the size of my manhood. unfortunately more spam was to follow and i ended up deactivating the email settings. Premium Review Blackberry Curve 8900 (490 words)

the Curve 8900 is the first Blackberry i have owned and let me say - I won't be going back to a 'normal' mobile again. Its a very nice, shiny looking phone which is very sturdy to hold and comes with a holder which actually puts the phone into stand-by. the little LED red light is also a nice touch - it saves you having to look at your phone all the time to check if you have missed a text/email. If it's flashing you have a text/email... the 8900 comes with a full QWERTY keyboard so people who are accustomed to using a PC/laptop will find typing very easy. At first the size of the small keys can be a nuisance but, after a few hours of playing around with the ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Nice Handset Just Needs Some Improvements (1122 words)

I recently had the Blackberry Pearl and upgraded to the Blackberry Curve 8900 when I was offered a free upgrade from 02. ***Why did I choose this?*** I really liked my Blackberry Pearl and thought now I know how to use the Blackberry I won't have to get use to all the new buttons that comes with getting to know a new model of phone as I have no patience and I don't like to read manuals! I also wanted an all round phone which would give me internet, email, facebook and it also had to have a camera as I like to use a camera a fair bit on my mobile phone. *** Features*** * Camera (3.2 MP) * Wi-Fi® ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Blackberry Curve 8900: Blackberry Curve - changed my life. (763 words)

Im a bit behind the times, what with the Blackberry storm, the Iphone 3g and all the other new phones out at the moment, but i recently got my hands on a Blackberry Curve, for free via vodafone. I have a to say, i love it. I was worried it might be a bit poncy or "business man"-like, but it isn't really. I mean, it could be, but that's not the way i use it. I use it for the simple things in life, listening to music, making phone calls, sending texts, taking pictures, all the stuff i used to do with my old phone (before it broke :(). The blackberry is a blessing and a curse in disguise as a sexy little black thing. I chose it because im a massive geek ...  Read the complete review
