Having finally switched allegiance from Sony Ericson, I opted to embark on my first relationship with Blackberry and with PDA's in general.

Although I had my heart set on the I-phone 02 laid down a contract for a Blackberry I could not refuse.

After initially getting to grips with the scaled down keyboard(not for the fat handed individual) I set about exploring the features of the curve. Having registered my email accounts to the phone i was buoyed with excitement to receive my first email even it it was a advert to increase the size of my manhood. Unfortunately more spam was to follow and i ended up deactivating the email settings.

I was further disappointed with the internet functions expecting a scaled down Internet explorer instead ending up with a cumbersome interface which seems to take a age to get anywhere. It was at this point i questioned why i signed up for a blackberry in the first place, was it some vein hope that this was the key the get me moving up the corporate ladder!

Overall the handset works fine for calls, sms and everything else a phone half the price retails at. Its not in the same league as the I-phone for entertainment however I respect that as a business aid for a high flyer this is a essential piece of kit. The calendar system is awesome, it has excel and word programs on it.

Overall this isn't the phone to lead us into the next generation
