I use this phone for work, so it was not my choice to have it - it's the model I was given when I started. I was delighted to get a Blackberry, but I have to say my first reaction was surprise - I didn't know they came in small sizes! I don't use the phone a great deal, it's just that it's company policy for everyone to have one. There are some things on it that I don't use, such as facebook, but I can give you a lot of comments on the main functions of the phone. One of the first things I realised about this was that the keyboard has a really daft layout. On larger Blackberries you get a full size keyboard, and on every other regular size mobile ... I do love my Blackberry Pearl! It was a pretty odd choice for me, I'm no big hot shot who needs constant contact with my office email, I don't need a stream of to do lists, or notes, my phones calendar is empty bar July which states 'Holiday, Yay!' I rarely use the internet feature, apart from when my Boyfriend gets lost and I have to re-find the postcode for the satnav. So I bet you're thinking, why did she get the Blackberry? Why not just a normal, texting, ringing, £50 from Argos phone. Because the Blackberry is a classic, plus it's pink. I kind of felt like Blackberry were trying to target this phone for more normal use, less work more play. Downsizing the ... Read the complete review

I have recently been given a Blackberry Pearl for work and honestly dont see the big fuss. Looks wise this phone is quite sleek with its business person styling but the build quality on mine seems less than adequate, bit rattle and it feels plastic. The half querty Keypad is ok but i have got used to my personal phones full qwerty which is a lot better (samsunf c6225) but i suppose it personal choice :] Sycronisation with outlook is very good and e-mail capability is worth it weight in gold .. this i feel is where balckberry excel and if thats your main need then you cant go wrong. Web browsing is also very good and the ... Read the complete review

i hav had many phones and this one is a decent phone for work and for what it says , a PDA, the particular function i was impressed about was the email, i have know it as the best email phone for sometime but i couldn't believe how easy and nice to use it was, the camera is average but atleast it has a camera, which msot phones due, the cool thing for me was the scroll ball, the first phone i came across with one, and it is much easy to use than a square keypad. talking of keypads this keypad i found hard to pick up due to it being odd, i had never used a qwerty keypad before. the music player is decent and so is the battery life, the email server is easy ... As an upgrade I really wanted this phone because of its mixture of style and function. In terms of style I thought this phone was ideal because it really does look so sleek and i love how it really fits in to the pal of your hand well. Another factor that i thought was brilliant was the size of the phone, unlike the larger blackberry models this fits into my pocket so well and it is ideal. At the same time I loved how there is still a full QWERTY keypad because it is so much quicker and easier to send a message. For me the fact that this phones portability is really high but it is still a smartphone makes it ideal for what I wanted. The phone has bluetooth ... Read the complete review
