Compaq iPaq Pocket PC H3970 ... the other review of this product I'll write about the Ipaq HP3970 rather than their customer support. This is a Microsoft Windows Pocket PC 2002 handheld. It's features are many and varied and it's uses extensive. Basic specs: 400MHz Intel PXA250 processor, 64K colour, 16 bit touch sensitive TFT screen, 64MB RAM, 48MB Flash ROM, 20MB free ROM (Ipaq data store). Storage is via a SD (Secure Digital) card. It doesn't come with one as standard but I'd recommend you get one as they're pretty much needed. I got a 256MB one off Ebay for around £45 to go with it. Compaq iPaq Pocket PC H3970 ... department, and ask them to confirm my address. OH MY GOD... Wrong address again! How do they do that?! Dear HP DBA!!! Have you set your database mode to read-only?!! I don't know what to do... It seems that HP has decided to discontinue their support for iPAQs as they really suck. (They are fine as long as they work... but as soon as something becomes wrong... they really SUCK!) Bye bye HP (former Compaq). You just lost another customer! ... Compaq iPaq Pocket PC H3660 ... had used a Palm 3c for about 18 months prior to getting the Ipaq. I was unprepared for the lack of battery life I need to charge the ipaq every night while palm will go for a week between charges. I was overjoyed with the way the ipaq works with outlook - this was the main reason I changed. You can sort by name or company, assign as many categories as you like and list just that category. Constant sync between windows meaning that any change made on desktop is immediately replicated on the ipaq. This works with contacts, calendar, and files.
