I bought my Pocket Loox 610 a good number of years ago, but it served me well as a PDA until replaced by more modern equipment.

Physically this PDA is of the expected size, given the dimensions of the screen. The lower mounted buttons are used for general navigation and as hotkeys to load selected applications. These buttons start to develop a strange feel after repeated use, and become rather too flexible for my liking. The mobile phone like antenna at the top is rather strange, as the PDA only has short range Bluetooth.

The PDA comes with a standard installation of Windows Mobile 2003, which offers the usual programs, such as Office, and PDA specialities like the addictive Jawbreaker. Fujitsu Siemens also includes additional software for managing the radio functions, which isn't very useful, and for backup, which is.

The 400MHz processor was the most powerful available at the time, and runs most PocketPC applications with ease. The 64MB RAM is sufficient, but the 64MB ROM needs to be backed up by using an SD card for storage.
