What can I say? Having used one of these for 6 months now, it's simply superb for working on the move. Its fast, beautiful to work with, faultlessly reliable and runs for over 8 hours between recharges. The Colour Screen is first class; clear, with good resolution, excellent colour saturation and fast response. The hinge allows the screen to be reliably set at different angles to give the best image in any lighting conditions.. The case is solid and robust. After 6 months heavy use and several falls, mine shows no sign of problem. The key board is perhaps the weakest part of the hardware. It's not the fastest and this can lead to the odd dropped letter when typing quickly but on the whole its as good as you can get in most laptops and better than any other PDA. Forget most of the criticisms of Win CE. It isn't Microsoft Office but for all normal purposes it's fine. Active Sync works well in exchanging documents between the HP and my PC running Office. Word Documents, Excel Spreadsheets and Email are all automatically converted as they are moved across. The Calendar systems works especially well with total integtation between the Contacts and Calendar databases and Outlook 98 on the PC. My total, busy schedule now relies totally on it! Above all, its light, portable and goes anywhere. Throw it in a briefcase, lift it out, switch on and its instantly ready to go. What else do you want from something that has almost the capabilities of a full PC and is a lot more reliable!
