Following the tradition set by the models it succeeded, this ipaq is beautiful. Its slender lines are only matched by dell's new axim.
This is a pocket pc not a smartphone, so you can't call anyone. To be honest the speed of it is very slow and when running multiple applications it runs down the battery like a water fall. Once you have got an application running it is very hard to stop it as when you press the x mark like on a normal pc it simply minimizes it and to properly close something you have to go into a seperate application (which is very hard to find) and close it from there.
Aside from this though, the new version of windows mobile works well with it, although the transcriber in the word program is very temperamental. Overall it is an excellent PDA, certainly the best in its category and price range.
I got given this item when my other half got himself a Microsoft Phone.
It is very handy if you can work it! I sometimes struggle with the simplest tasks, I'm not sure if it's user error as I am IT literate, but if I click on a day to put in an appointment and then put in the time and duration, when I finish making the appointment it sometimes doesn't appear where I put it at all! The trick is to check all the details before you OK as I have seen it change things when I move from one field to another.
I love the way it links in with my Outlook and I can track all my appoiments this way.
It does seem to need charging a lot and I have set it to back-up regularly as I would forget to charge it, leave it in my handbag, and when I next came to use it it was dead!
