Advantages: Smaller size than G1, smooth touchscreen, fast processing.

Disadvantages: Camera is still not very good.

The new HTC MAGIC! Another lovely commodity given to us by google. To me, it is the new and improved version of the G1 series. Much more efficient and user friendly. Using the G1 made me dizzy and frustrated so i returned it after a few weeks. I hesitated before I bought this phone knowing my unpleasant experience with the G1. But I must say, I am glad I took the bold step forward.

Something I like about this phone is the size. The G1 was too bulky, and hard to keep in my pocket. Most of the time, I let my girlfriend carry it in her purse because it was just too big! But the Magic is much, much better. (YES!). Internet usage is satisfactory. Compared to the G1, I cant notice much of a difference, but it is fast and doesnt lag too much. I think the internet features are much easier to figure out than the G1 series though. Also, the apps are organized much better, and arent so cluttered. I know what I want, and where it is located at all times... its great!

I like taking pictures with the phone, but like the G1 (sadly..) theres just too much lag time. Taking still pictures is difficult, and the images are not as clear as I would like them to be. But in the end, the music player makes up for this deficiency. There is plenty of space for me to store my favorite songs, and listen to them on the go! And referring back to the size, I can listen to music and keep the phone in my pocket rather than carrying it around with me! The touchscreen is also more accurate and less laggy than the G1 series, which is fantastic!

The new and improved version of the G1 is very good, and I definitely recommend its purchase.

This is one smart smart phone! Now I know where it gets its name "Magic."
