Description: Model ID 99HEY044-00 / HTC Touch Pro - Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional - MSM7201A 528 MHz - RAM: 288 MB - ROM: 512 MB 2.8" TFT ( 480 x 640 ) - ... more
HTC Touch Pro ... camera - 802.11b, 802.11g, Bluetooth 2.0 EDR - GPS - W-CDMA 900/2100 / GSM 850/900/1800/1900 / The HTC Touch Pro brings together elegant touch screen response with the direct precision of keyboard entry, leaving out nothing to deliver a powerhouse communication tool in a beautiful, compact design.

The 2.8-inch VGA touch screen provides four times the resolution of most smart devices, making email, documents and web pages sharper and easier to work with than ever before.

HTC's rich, touch-responsive interface, TouchFLO 3D, provides a stunningly intuitive way to zip through common tasks like messaging, calendar checks or making calls. Delve a little deeper to find that playing media files, searching for contacts and surfing the web are also responsive to your touch.

The web browser puts the full Internet in the palm of your hand. Websites look just like they do on a PC, and TouchFLO 3D makes it easy to pan around and zoom in on exactly the information you're looking for. If you need a wide screen, simply tilt the Touch Pro sideways and the page switches to landscape view.

Slide out the 5-row QWERTY keyboard to make light work of typing-intensive tasks like composing email or working on Microsoft Office documents, perfect for when your day takes a serious turn.

High speed connectivity will keep you in touch with colleagues and contacts wherever you are. Integrated GPS can be used with maps software for a full turn-by-turn satellite navigation experience.

Built-in Wi-Fi and TV-out functionality mean you can hook up to the local wireless hot spot to surf, then deliver the perfect PowerPoint presentation without a laptop in sight.

A beautiful angle on business, the HTC Touch Pro introduces effortless presence to enterprise-standard communications.

... setup the emails for exchange was a 5 or maybe 6 step wizard. So it was really straight forward, i managed to set it up first time. The Touch flo screen certainly makes life a little easier, and it also looks great too. The keyboard is a massive plus for me personally, a client of ours had the diamond (which has no keyboard) and it was horrible using the small touch keyboard onscreen. The slide out keyboard is very simple to use and the keys are well spaced out so there are no double button pressing. The camera is goo...more

Premium Review HTC Touch Pro: A complete phone (361 words)
by - written on 16/06/09 (Very useful, 34 readings)
Rating:

The market is suddenly flooded with many smart phones like Iphone, Samsung Tocco, HTC touch pro etc. I have this phone for over 8 months now and havent got any major problems as such. A complete phone and definitely gives a strong competition to other phones in the same segment. What I like: 1. Touch Flo Screen: A new technology which only HTC is offering and makes the user interface quite smooth. 2. Keyboard: It is a handy thing to have for sure. It is very well hidden and can be accessed very easily when required. 3. Functionalities: HTC touch pro is almost like a mini computer offering vast range of functionalities from ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Not a bad phone (332 words)

Rating:

I currently have this work this phone for business. I also have an iphone as personal. Although I feel it isn't in the same league as the iPhone, it is still a good phone. It features windows mobile which I find really easy to use, WinMo is full of useful features for example internet explorer, office mobile and google maps. Most probably the best feature for this phone is the ability to sync to the exchange server using activesync which is a must have for business phones. Although there are many other smartphones out there the main competetor to this phone was the balckberry, we looked into that hard, it costs so much to setup. The HTC Touch Pro is so easy to ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review HTC Touch Pro: A pro touch screen Office phone (280 words)
by - written on 28/12/08 (Useful, 156 readings)
Rating:

The Touch Pro is more then I could have ever expected. When I went in-store to look at the different phone models available, I was told that this was tough competition for the iPhone. Tough competition? The Touch Pro has beaten the iPhone, hands down. With its super-fast response to touch as well as ease of access to the Internet, weather, emails and texts at the flick of a finger, this phone has to be one of the most user friendly touch screen phones available on the market. As well as boasting a fully functioning touch screen, the phone also holds a full QWERTY keyboard, making it easier to type directly into a Word or Excel document. The operating system, Windows ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review HTC Touch Pro (206 words)

Rating:

The HTC touch pro is packed with features and the windows operating system to boot, as a concept it is great and it allows you to browse the web, send emails, view audio and video, take photos and much more! The execution however leaves a number of frustrating bugs, the first being that the touch screen is not disabled when the phone rings causing missed call or worse call answered in your pocket! The touch interface is a little clunky and unresponsive at times but this could be down to having a number of applications open in memory. The phone itself is extremely well made and seems to be hard wearing, I have mnaged to scratch the touch screen a ...  Read the complete review
