The TyTN II is a fantastic phone that is bursting with features. I have had this Phone for about 2 months now and have had no problems with it. To get the most out of it you MUST take the Data package to get the unlimited internet access. The TyTN II comes loaded with Windows Mobile 6 Phone edition, so it contains all of the things you would expect to find on a modern PDA. It also contains GPS which can be used with any sat nav software that will run on windows mobile like tom tom or co pilot. Here is a list of some of its main features. Great connectivity including 3G,HSDPA,EDGE & Bluetooth: The connection ... Read the complete review

Excellent phone with loads and loads of accessories and available software. For those of you gamers out there there are countless games you can download onto the phone, including brain training, tennis, football. The built in GPS is an excellent feature and works very well indeed. The screen size is acceptable for use with sat nav programmes and watching streaming tv and browsing the internet, although some sites dont give you full internet capabilty. The HSDPA, at 3.6 mbps, works pretty well and you can surf fairly quickly without any problems. You can also tilt the screen (tilting 2.8" transflective TFT-LCD with backlight LEDs, touch ... The HTC Tytn II or Kaiser or any of the other names it has is a Windows Mobile device running Windows Mobile 6.1 (after a recent update). I've had mine for about 8 months now. One of the brilliant things about it is it does nearly everything you could want! The list of features are incredible: GPRS, EDGE, 3G, HSDPA, WiFi, Bluetoth2.0, GPS, 3 megapixel camera, Micro SDHC slot, Qwerty keyboard, Pocket office (Excel, Word etc). Because of this amazing list of specs I use this device all the time for work and play. Having a data package in your contract is almost a neccesity. I've currently got mine on an Orange contract, 750 anytime cross network ... Read the complete review

I have the Vodafone v1615, which is a slightly rebranded HTC TyTN II with some Vodafone specific software. As a phone, it is rather mediocre. Call quality is good - but not better than you'd expect from a good quality mobile phone - but dialling is troublesome on a touch screen (over a year, and I'm still not used to dialling like that). However, as a PDA, it is fantastic. I use my v1615 for absolutely everything - the built in GPS lets me use Google Maps and/or Tom Tom Navigator 6 with equal ease. Note that despite the lack of information on the Tom Tom site, the TyTN II will run Tom Tom 6 - just make sure to defrag your storage card (otherwise ... Read the complete review

I apologize if this review does not suit those looking for more technical info. This can be found elsewhere. Where can you get one? I came by this phone in an Orange shop. I liked the look of it and discussed contracts. I checked Vodafones website and didn't see it there so I phoned them for my PAC number so I could change provider. That was when I discovered the thing with HTC; they often allow rebadging of their phones. Hence, I have a Vodafone v1615. It is also called a Kaiser III. Why did I want this Phone? I wanted a phone/PDA so that I could keep a diary with me at all times. i know that a pocket diary would work as well, but I ... Read the complete review
