Philips Nino 500:
... 18 months old now, and changes in the pda market have made it pretty obsolete, so only buy one if you see it 2nd hand and cheap! 75mhz isn't too great (half the speed of new ones) and Windows CE2 has been overtaken by PocketPC OS, so software is drying up, but if the choice is between a new palm and 2nd hand nino, I'd choose this for fun value... It has a good screen (indoors) and great handwri... Read the full review: I love my nino by johninnit |

It is also less than half the price of a Palm Vx and less than a qtr the size ... Read the full review: Great little PDA by andrewro71 |

Philips Nino 300 ... you go along). Whichever method you use, data entry is cumbersome. The machine come complete with a recharger and a cradle which links up to the serial port on your PC and is able to swap and update information to the latest version added. Linking up to the PC also updates the Nino's clock and date to match that of the PC. The installation software for the synchronisation program and the other bundled software were quite difficult to set up, however, there was no problem once the device was running, except occasionally when I wanted to use the modem on the desktop and I had to manually deactivate the synchronisation program. For those lucky enough to have an i... Read the full review: Nino - No No! by alukaris |
