Advantages: can have a lot of functionality

Yes, it's very handy and it's a good gadget but really it is just a gadget. It doesn't organise your life, sorry but if your unorganised your unorganised and this is not going to organise you, you will still miss your bus, forget to water your neighbours plants etc.

Ok it has some nice to have features, beeping to remind you of meetings x number of minutes in advance giving you time to get there, being able to download extra applications off of the internet, yes you can turn it into a mirror, an underground map and an alarm clock. It's also revived those old time favourite games, packman and battle ship (infra-red is particularly good) but there is a reason these are old games, they're old technology.

Also it may be able to turn your tv over but believe me, so it should, as for the amount of batteries this thing goes through your tv remote, walkman, childrens toys stand no chance of ever having working batteries again.

This thing will not change your life forever and you can live happily without it, give it a couple of months and you'll be bored of trying to remember to carry it everywhere with you incase it beeps to remind you of something, or incase todays the day you finally meet someone else with one and can finally test out the beam business card feature.

Don't get me wrong there are good points about it, it doesn't crash in the middle of typing something, you don't have to remember to save, if you turn it off, it turns back on exactly where you left it, in the middle of a game, in the middle of a sentence even. It's very user friendly even for the most technically challenged among us theres not much you can do wrong with it. And yes it does recognise your handwriting, well once you've adapted your hand writing to what's known as Palm graffiti, and you may notice people often stick scotch tape on the screen to make it easier to "graffiti" (but this makes your n
ew cool gadget look a bit naf!)
